I've seen most of the films of Christ's life and teachings since the 1950s. I'm an old man now and I believe "The Chosen" is the only production that has made Jesus come alive ...

Amen, brother! It's the polar opposite of Robert Powell and his far away eyes. The Chosen depicts Jesus as a regular everyday person but Divine. He's someone you can come to, as we see over and over again the show. He always has compassion unless you start getting the idea that you're better than someone else, then He'll straighten you out-AND THEN show compassion and understanding for you, as with the Sons of Thunder.
The Chosen is an absolutely beautiful program.
It makes these people REAL.

I just finished this episode for the 5th time. This series has brought Christ to life the life for me. Naturally we believe in Christ, we study him through scriptures from both the BOM and Bible. However, I have never been able to relate to him in human form. Now I find myself with my children watching chosen over and over and actually finding the Bible fascinating. This series is a gift from God

Of all the stories that I’ve seen of Jesus, the Chosen has to be the greatest series up until this moment ever produced. Thank you Dallas Jenkins. I have watched this many times. Each time I watch it I see something new. It is a great evangelical tool and I pray that so many will come to Christ through this series. Your characters are so completely believable, and may I say brilliant actors. You can always tell when people are at the apex of their job. It becomes a labor of love. Thank you.❤
Those words will never leave me again. When he said, when you were at your lowest moment, I did not turn my face from you. I saw you. My heart cried, I cried, deeply. I still do. This series has returned me to my faith. And I rewatch it to keep me going. I can not be more grateful for this scene.
This series has brought back to life my stale Christianity. I’ve loved GOD for a long time, but my heart had become weary. I look forward to watching the next episode. Seeing it helps me realize what he went through for me.

Last 7 verses of John ch 1 were difficult to fathom .This makes it very clear. "I saw you under the fig tree "also has a very special reference. Nathaniel was having a special religious experience under the fig tree as mentioned by some Hebrew scholars.
Could you please help with the fig tree part? What incident is he referring to ?

I saw the clip in which ,Nathaniel was under a tree and he was undergoing deep emotions,and set to fire a paper he had in,his bag. Perhaps Jesus is referring to this" under a fig tree".
