Wow! I have watched a lot of these hangi vids and none came even close to the way my dad 'n uncles put down our hangi's...well until now that is. Dad did it the exact same way. You bring back so many good memories of xmas day, the whanau, the sing songs and the food. Thank you for sharing, makes me even more determined to go home to NZ

I never could understand the burn it in the hole crew, what a muck around, just heat the rocks next to the hole and drag them in.
