They really should make a Canon movie where teen Goten and Trunks are the main characters and have them beat an Ultra powered Villain in secret that would later be revealed in DB Super's later arcs.

Gohan against Cell was actually OP. Cell came back as Super Perfect Cell having acheieve some form of super transformation and gohan still blasted him with one arm. If gohan would have kept training, he would have been able to two shot Dabura in that fight.
