Me too
You see, Everyone in these comments are saying they have to watch this for school or something and we read the book in English but I'm just choosing to watch this because I thought it was a great book? Is that sad? I'm spending my free CZcams time watching this? Ey I'm enjoying it though!
If it makes you happy then we can’t object
@@sonnyfox60 yes sonny (miss davies drama)
Konorz who is it?
@@sonnyfox60 conor paul gornall
Konorz oh, you alright Connor
Blood Brothers was the very first musical I ever saw on Broadway. I watched it the summer of 2010 in London and absolutely fell in love with it. This musical will always hold a special place in my heart :)
It's nearly 5 years since I studied this at GCSE, can't believe how fast it's gone, I loved this show. Never saw it live though so I'm glad it's on here :)
its crazy how this comment was 8 years ago which means its been 13 years since you’ve studied it at GCSE, and im doing it for GCSE right now!
@@sarspe111 You'll love it it's a fantastic play 😀
2003 we did this for gcse too my English teacher had this on vhs tape
Who else has the English lit paper 2 tomorrow (2019)🙋♀️
Looool me😭
Me!!
funny, youre the last person to ever do an exam lol
I understand GCSE's are important to an extent, but what will remembering quotes and stating the obvious about them ever do to help me get a job?
What the hell does this have to do with this video?
Nicky Edwards er, blood brothers is part of english literature?
+Peter Booth Funny how every year, new year 11's up-vote my comment aha, good luck to you guys, I got an A and I didn't finish watching it!
I've go mine in a few months what was it like
Ethan Smith 696 Don't worry about it mate honestly, the best advice I could give you is just don't get stressed about it, English Lit means so little post-school, everyone is more interested in English Language and Maths, so just do well in those :)
this counts as revision right?
Niamh Spicer this is my last minute revision too!
Still learning about it 🤦♂️
I guess?
As long as you’re taking notes and notice of their behaviours and what they mean, then yes 😂
Not a clue
I'm doing this book in school at the moment, brilliant.

Year 8 English and Year 10 Drama brought me here. It is so far the first and only book/play that I ever did at school that had swearing in it.
POV: your drama teacher sent you here

Sammeeee. I have an essay tmmrw on this so I'm hoping that watching it will help me remember quotes
Saw this with my adoptive mother way back in the 1980s: So great to find this recording with the cast and musical arrangement as it was back then. Thanks for posting Mr Pooch.
took a very good friend to see this on his 21st birthday 24 years ago. He wanted to go on a pub crawl and was a bit reluctant to be going to see a show. By the end of it he was in tears and didn't drink for the rest of the night as he 'didn't want to blur the emotions from the show'.
Love this play, my favourite text/play out of the 3 we do in class, (Romeo and Juliet, A Christmas Carol) This is my favourite
The final GCSE Literature exam is tomorrow. I'll never have to do literature again after tomorrow, weird feeling but will miss this.
19/5/24
The best show I have ever seen, seen it loads of times, I watch it on CZcams anytime I'm bored, fav scene is 3, wen they meet for the 1st time, my favorite Mickey is Con o'neil, he makes me cry every time, should be brought out on dvd

Con O'Neill will always be the best Mikey. Love Blood Brothers :)
Marg yes!
I saw this on Brosdway 7 times with Petula Clark,David and Shaun Cassidy...fantastic!
thanks soo much for this. saw it open at Liverpool Playhouse as a kid,and then a couple of years later when it came back to Liverpool Empire. Couldn't believe a musical could be about 'real' gritty issues.
Then Con from down the road end's up as 'Mickey'.......:o)
DRAMA HOMEWORKKKKKKK
Such a great musical! Seen it 6 times and love it even more every time I go to see it!!!
Watching this because of GCSEs but also because I like musicals xD
Just found this doing it at school, absolutely love it. Actors are so good, and Mickey is gorgeous ;)
6:27 anyone else hear the little kid saying ‘AND CUSTARD!’
Love this. Just finished reading it at school and it is so good. I never got to finish watching the theatre performance so watching it all now. It’s it absolutely amazing love it
i remember watching this in english for gcses lol, was always the best lesson when our teacher would put the play on, the whole year group went out to see a version of it as well, such a great play
Our school did this musical and the actors were actually rather brilliant and it was so well made and it's just awesome.
Watched it in 89 with this cast and then again in 90s.. Amazing show
I did this for my drama exam. I played Mickey. It was the best character I ever played!
I'm doing it in class and I played Micky too
I am going to play mr Lyons in my school production, Eddie and mickey are older than me
the quality of this video is about the same as the quality of my knowledge about this musical
I'm doing this for my Drama GCSE, Going to see it next month, really like this production.
It helped a lot, thanks for uploading:)
How did your GCSE go?
After 8 years? Fine thanks 😂
Love the first song we went dancing. Stuck in my head 😂😂

doing this play for my exams this year, watched it a million times already and hoping to get the role of Linda really bad.

I did this as part of my Performing Arts GCSE
We had to watch the whole thing.
And I’m glad I did, I enjoyed every last minute of it, I still watch it from time to time
English Literature Exam tomorrow... Wish me luck guys!
someone tell me how i’m going to get a job by remembering quotes from this?
Remembering script lines effectively I guess, important for performing
Saw this production at the Bradford Alhambra the week before it moved to the west end - still my favourite cast and musical arrangement. They seem to have murdered 'Tell me it's not true' in the latest version :( Played Eddie in our youth group in 1994 - best part ever done - was a struggle not to cry when i was 'dead' at the end - BRILLIANT SHOW - cheers Mr Russell!!
This is my favourite play/musical. After studying it, I have seen it several times now.
I'm just watching this cuz my drama teacher told me to check it out.
I saw this in a theater with my school the other week and I was in tears by the end of it!
seen this show 4 times and always enjoyed it. Great entertainment.
I remember I studied this for my GCSEs in 2020/21
that milkman is like half the teachers inschool
This is by far the best playing ever seen in my entire life I am so upset that it ended so soon but I am sure that they still do tours but its just not the same and its probably not the same cast .,....... What a shame
Christ, i cannot believe it's been 10 years since i studied this st school and watched the play 😅
