You should definitely check out more of Marianne. She's the grand champion of a reality singing competition here in the Philippines called The Clash. She was the same as Jessica Villarubin, but on a different season. She's definitely a power belter and her tone is nice. She sang big songs in during the competition and now she's one of the members of Queendom (a group of amazing powerful singers in a variety show).

Ninaaaa! Undoubtedly great voices however sometimes I feel that the technical excellence and extra 'wobbly' bits can dilute the emotion of a song. Can less be more? I'm not sure. I grew up on the Simon and Garfunkel original which holds back till the very end. I love unison singing though and flipping into harmonies was something special. Sorry I couldn't share the goose bumps on this one. I'm a tough ol' thing. But hey, I'll be back. Thanks again for the show. Did you ever consider reacting to the Divinyls - Pleasure And Pain? 1985.

Hi Nina!! Mariane Osabel was the Grand Champion of the Clash season 4, a singing conest in GMA Network. She is also a member of the Divas of the Queendom (a regular segment in All Out Sundays, a musical variety show in GMA) together with Julie Anne San Jose and Jessica Villarubin! Just reacted to your video of Sohyang’s rendition and this one, and what I can take from both performances is that Sohyang can be imitated but never in a million years duplicated. Also it’s clear you were impressed by Sohyang’s vocal abilities compared to these singers, as she can actually emote while singing which the latter lack ❤
