    Heck yeah we’re doing some more lol thanks Ron I got three printers and a some old computers to take apart then I’m doing it too it has only been maybe two weeks how long does it stay in the jar and where are you storing it at best of luck to you

      @@gambitdesert8500 i am storing it with Ron haha 😂 but some people do it outside since there are no harmful chemicals like other methods it's not to big of a deal where you store it unlike the chemical methods there shouldn't be any toxic fumes. If you have any questions about where to find the gold in a printer or computers and screens. Let me know I plan on doing a video of me taking apart each and talking about what's worth keeping and why. Oh and the time purely depends on strength of vinegar and how much salt you add. It's only been 13 days but to get all the gold it's best to leave it for more than 20 days to be safe I may wait over a month

      You ain't gonna get stuff all from your 3 printers , and 4 desktops , you literally need a semi mountain of old electronics to make it remotely worth while. The flakes aren't pure gold either, they are tiny pieces of gold plated metal, you need to do another chemical process it again to turn the flakes into real gold

      @@EdmundSampson-pd7vi all part of the process you start by removing the gold plated material. I have a small mountain. And non of that is printer 🖨️ parts or laptops or desktops. I have a method of refinement after removal with a flux like borax and adding a bit of pure silver then a chemical method to get better purity of gold. This is just an experiment with a less toxic chemical extraction method before the final refinery process. Just one small video on a neat way to separate the metals from the boards more process and bigger batches to come thanks for watching

    What ratio of salt to vinegar?

    • @Mystic-Mountain-Morphs
      @Mystic-Mountain-Morphs  Před 5 dny

      @@davidharris8861 what I did was fill the jar with vinegar and then added about one third of a round table salt container the ones you buy from the store with the flip top dispenser.

      @@davidharris8861 after a few days you can add a few tablespoons or a bit more of peroxide to help speed up the process a little bit. Just an idea I like the idea of as little chemicals as possible for it to be the safest reaction as possible. I am not good enough yet to do the acid part and don't have space or proper ventilation at the moment. So vinegar and salt it is. Awesome good luck with your batch let me know how it goes

    Use the money you get and buy a decent mower

      @@Daniel-qe8qe my job is to keep it mowed haha 🤣 they supply the equipment. I barely have a yard I am not buying one haha 😆. What kind of mower are you thinking though?

      @Mystic-Mountain-Morphs that looks like it's a cub cadet maybe? I only use commercial mowers, my preference is toro

      @@Daniel-qe8qe we actually have a big toro as well I use it for the spaces and do the big fields with the cub cadet. They both work very well I the torque on the toro causes me to slide/spin a bit more the seat has a spring on the toro and that makes for a less bumpy ride. They both have their pros and cons. What's your favorite part about useing a toro and your biggest con of useing a cub cadet? Yes it is a cub cadet good eye. Yellow gives it away

      @Mystic-Mountain-Morphs cub cadet is an MTD product, not known for quality dependability or longevity. For me a toro stand on is easy to work on and built VERY well.

      @@Daniel-qe8qe nice I have wanted to try the stand on never have. I think it would be cool but how comfortable is it if you have a lot like a lot to mow. I haven't seen many problems with either other than normal maintenance here and there and both have had pulleys replaced but after 5 years of use that pot metal they use can only do so much.. super cool I know it's an odd conversation but I like hearing opinions on the mowers no one around me anymore who cares enough to have an opinion on them so I appreciate your comments and opinions. Super cool thanks. Lucky I may have gotten one they messed up and forgot to mess up my cub cadet to fail lol 🤣
