Great engineering projects for big pockets on the little grey Fergusons but just big boys toys,but the old Taarup forage machine was great to see my father modified one in the 70s to flail potato top before spinning the rows.
Have 2 TO35s , love these tractors although I farm with John Deeres.
Sure would like to know how they achieved gear changing on that tandem Fergie.
The articulated Fergie before it, is certainly an interesting concept - almost like a Matbro.
The DOE triple D had the gears actuated with brake cylinders, and a spring to return the gear stick to the rest position.

The use of some of this equipment is inaccurate as you wouldn't use spring Tyne narrows straight on ploughed sods but disc first. Tyne harrows were for final tillage before seeding.
