- Michael approaches the markets using systematic trend following long term strategies that are diversified through several kinds of environments (futures, ETF's, Stocks, etc...). He uses algorithms to select which markets to trade, along with position sizing rules.
- Manifests the importance of being organized (know what, when and how).
- Being prepared helps to build confidence and prevent anxiety.
- Anxiety blooms when we don't feel prepared for the task.
- Anxiety affects system execution.
- Stick to a style that suits your personality, that implies knowing what you like about it, and what you don´t like about your approach. Also giving up the idea that you can know everything is needed to execute such style effectively and pull the trigger.
- In these times it is very hard to attract attention with a trading record (getting funds), but you can get away with it if you try to apply it to your local surroundings (try to impress your local business).
- Having the life you want is more important than making money, so you should consider your life-style prior to your trading expectations.

Yes, It's not all about money. One can live very comfortably with minimal amount if he or she knows how to spend and make use of it wisely and intelligently.

As an engineer, it is very hard to talk about what I do with someone who does not know about what I do, because it is so technical in nature. I can give people a good oversight, but anything more than that and it just does not work, if they do not understand the subject at hand.
