BTW, what is your best, clearest, and most powerful subwoofer demo media choice? I'm attempting to tune my two subs to be as life like as possible.

Ha… well, it’s possible that our approach is a bit more niche? Otherwise, no idea. This show has been getting about 300-400 listens per week across all platforms. Hopefully more folks will think like you and join the community! 👍👍. Really appreciate your support… and I’m definitely all about budget conscious gear, will cover it as news gets out there!
As for my favorite subwoofer demo… hmmm… my go to for movies has been the first race scene in Ready Player One (scene with King Kong destroying the motor cycle) and the Dark of the Moon (pounding bass pulse) as they are jumping out of the Osprey to suit-glide into the city.
You want to check for balance with your system (especially if you’re pushing your subs to run a little hot), but you also need a track with pulses (like Dark of the Moon) to check for tightness and clarity.
Lone Survivor is another great film… the incursion scene where the Seals are flown into the mountains is a great low end scene… so is the fun fight in the mountains (particularly the transients associated with the muffled long gun shots fired by the seals).
You can also search for some good bass music tracks. SVS has a bass playlist on Spotify that’s loaded with bass heavy tracks. I’d search for a song that has nice, tight pulses in it.
