Everyone here giving Lars shit for his drumming but it needs to be pointed out that he's not out of time here, there's just a slight delay between what's coming out of the speakers that's been processed and the actual live sound of the drums that the camera is picking up. I have first hand experience with this. I seen Metallica at Slane Castle in the pit and the sound was great but as soon as they came out for the encore on the walkway where they were within spitting distance of me I could hear both the actual live drums right in front of me as well as coming out through the P.A. and there was a slight delay. Not to mention I have a background in sound engineering and a small delay is to be expected, especially if what you're hearing coming out of the PA has to account for travel around a stadium (depending on where you are in relation to any particular line arrays or what have you.) That's why it sounds so out of time from the guitars here. The phone camera is only picking up the live drums in front of him but the guitars are being heard after going through the desk and out through the P.A. Not to mention also having a lot of reverb rom the stadium on top of them. I'm not here defending Lars, but it's important to note from a technical standpoint why this sounds "out of time."
