most fun run without unlocking every conceivable item. i cant tell you how many times ive had a run where i have had 0 to at the most 1 damage ups. my win streak says 20 of those. BEAT THE CHALLENGES BEFORE PLAYING THE GAME
I love how it's only impossible with eden, with anyone else this would be easy
Also the challenge is only this hard when you're playing in normal mode, hard mode is easier for some reason
Any seed with rag man as first boss immediately places itself in the “hardest seeds” area
Unless you play as Azazel but come on... azazel is easy for the most part
@fritz5745 i mean if you get unlucky and get barly anythint to help with range It becomes a probem sense the more far you get the less helpful azelels flight becomes do to how common it is to get later and getting close to even some womb enemy's is basicly a death sentence. But yeah he sweps early and the whole point is to use early game to use the advantage

I love the little trick at 6:29, going out and back into the run to get better rng with the headless isaac
Also why did you not use active item more often earlier on to get more charges?
@@hush3956 I wanted to preserve fully charged book, so I can buy a deal without much cost, used the bible after I bought an item and didn't die. This trick allows you to buy the deal with 1/2 of heart

As soon as I saw the damage and tears rate, I immediately knew - this boss is black champion ragman.
It's even worse on the switch version, The library is replaced with a curse room with spiders. so you can't even black heart bomb ragman

@@watergaming7543 the problem with the cartridge is the fact that it is SEEDED and it will never activate since it is already pre-seeded and only works for example after 8 hits

I would’ve given up once I saw I had to fight Ragman. I guess the black hearts do help but once your using black hearts offensively as your main source of damage I’d say you’re probably not having fun

@@Diggdigital even if it would stats wouldn't change since this item changes your stats permanently and it doesn't matter of presence of the item. The same as consolation prize. However when rolled, your stats will change.

This is an awesome accomplishment, I’ve read and watched a bunch about this seed before! I’m really glad someone actually managed to beat it, I can’t believe I didn’t see this sooner. I know not everyone who watches this will know the context or exactly how awful this seed truly is - I’ve seen a couple comments proving that - but you deserve all the attention you’re getting and then some. Well done!
@@stasis168 Yeah this seed is disgusting mainly because of unfair boss on first floor who heals faster then you deal damage, and many people just think ok you have low stats and satanic bible the run is not that bad, but they don't really understand the twist with the boss, even with the book it is stupidly hard to defeat the ragman.

What are Eden tokens?
@@Nicotri3 Eden tokens allow you to play as eden, you can get one token each time you defeat mom's heart or Beast. Every time you start a run as Eden you will waste 1 token and resets also count

What going to school was like according to my parents.
i think someone got something wrong. this seed is way worst on hardmode. on hard mode it takes 5 rooms to get to the boss, 3 of which are filled with spiders.
i tried normal mode and got to the boss first try
(bad heal rng killed me however)
on hardmode i have yet to reach the boss with both black hearts
Did you find any bombs in hard mode? Those would make the boss easier
I never thought anyone could struggle with Duke of Flies, but I guess this seeded eden is just built diff

The seed now starts you with magic mush and we need to go deeper. and there is a crawlspace with haemolacria under a rock the looks long in the skinny room before rag man.
@@ConelleandConefecti Are you not joking? Maybe you are using mods that can effect item pools and pickups spawn. Many players tried to beat this seed and started with other more pleasant items but the truth was they were using some mods

It took me round 4-5 hours grinding the first boss for successful attempt, and I didn't take flight because I thought it was too expensive even though I had car battery. I could take it and regain my health back, maybe that was misplay.
It almost pained me when you took flip with car battery, but I forgot that you can’t really roll twice if there’s no other item to roll to

Ngl I think there could be a list of seeds based on difficulty with eden, like what geometry dash has with the demon list or what BTD6 has with the hardest maps list thingy

@@Banana-senpai because he overhealed and his health was not 200 but 210-220 that's the main problem of this boss. He heals past his health bar
I tried this seed and Ragman was still at full health even after i lost my black heart. Why so? Is there some bug that fixes if you go to the main menu and then back? I noticed you used this in some rooms
@@kimikanna_live he basically overheals and his health becomes more than 100% that makes this fight almost impossible, the longer the fight the more chances you will get softlocked

@@xa447I'm pretty sure there is no seed with worse first floor than this one, mainly because of black ragman variation. In rebirth the was one terrible seed with base stats for entire run, but it's very unlikely in repentance because you have much more options to optimise your run

@@Warlord4Hikage the main problem is that you start with experimental treatment that lowers your stats up to 1,3 tears and 1,5 damage. And your DPS is literally less than 2. The twist of this seed is the first boss who can regenerate his health. His healing restores 10 health and you barely deal 1.5 damage. He restores his health much faster than you deal to him. And to defeat him you have to sacrifice your black hearts to deal 160 damage and pray that he will not heal himself for 20-30 seconds so you can finish him with 1.5 damage

I just put that in there cuz i found some parts of the run funny, kinda like "newb mistakes", but I don't actually know anything about how skilled you are, so that's a rushed judgement on my part obviously. It was little things like taking dmg on 1st floor + not touching other book, plus a few other things later on that you've already touched on added up to me thinking that.
