Dontai should honestly play battlefield 1 campaign, it’s arguably one of the best first person shooter storytelling out there. Plus it’s still one of the best looking games even in today standards
Still think Modern Warfare 2019’s campaign can’t be beat. The Piccadilly terrorist attack, the slow and methodical Clean House mission, the embassy mission inspired by Benghazi, the capture the wolf mission inspired by the Bin Laden compound raid, etc. That campaign was lit.
MW2019 as a whole still can’t be beat. Feel like all the work they did to really immerse in the game being mad tactical showed that genuinely had work and passion for it As opposed to MW2 and 3 just being thrown out there purely for cash baiting

MW2 was like second hand smoke, mid Warzone, stale multiplayer and decent campaign that wasn’t quite as good as the first. From what I’ve read, MW3 is like drinking bong water, MW2 progress is being carried over so it’s basically MW2.5, and god only knows what Warzone will look like. I can’t believe I’m gonna say this, but I wouldn’t mind a more futuristic cod at this point.

most of the campaign missions are just glorified dmz runs on segments of the warzone map with a cutscene at the end. the story itself isnt the worst cod story but its up there.

@@JR-iz1yy i thought it was predictable and cliche af and just a worse retelling of mw3 in almost every way, and the ending was the worst part by far. hard to talk about with spoilers so thats down here: (SPOILERS) the makarov fakeout death was lazy predictable, seeing as the did it right after the graves fakeout death in the exact same way, and obviously the main antagonist of the plot isnt gonna die in a 10 minute ac130 mission. also soaps death was stupid af, did ghost and gaz just take a nap while soap and price were defusing the bomb? makarov walking up and getting 1 ft away from prices face instead of just finishing him with his gun, giving soap a chance to save him and die dramatically. its also so out of character for price to not instantly kill makarov the first chance he gets in the flashback, but plot has to happen so captain price of all people doesnt want to execute an extremely dangerous prisoner who is also a mass murderer and terrorist.
Makarov is a S tier villain, his monologues while being captured and presumably is losing the war are top tier. Even some high quality production antags pale in comparison. COD atp is better at producing high stake action cinema-tics than they are at making actual video games. 😂 These last 3 MW games have been excellent when it comes to the campaign.
