Lujurious packaging of Parker 51 is very nice.
Now, packaging is a cardboard box.
I love A. T. Cross or Walther A. Sheaffer vintage packaging.
Actual pens and ball pens quality is not the same that 1950-70.
A lot plastic and a little brass and steel pieces.

Yes there are some lovely pens here, unfortunately they will not all be in my collection. I have to buy these pens so i have to sell most of them to recoup my costs. There maybe one or two that i will keep.

I'll start looking once I get my first royalty cheque. Debut novel coming out next week :) I have a Parker 45 Flighter that I'm writing a lot of my current novel with and I love it. I wish I could afford a Homo Sapiens or even a Rembrandt as I seem to be drawn to Visconti at the moment. You did a video on an older Visconti in a green pearlescent finish that looked stunning.

It may be a while before I get a cheque large enough to allow me to buy one. This is my debut novel so, new and terrifying ground for me ;)

Thank you for watching, and yes i must agree with you :-) Mabie Todd actually originated in New York around 1860 then around 1909 they began manufacturing pens in Britain etc etc.

2020: I know Im late with this but, if im correct, you probably have sold the tiger swirl SWAN fountain pen huh...... Its chatoyance is by far the most vibrant ive seen (better than the F.P.R. Himalaya, the current Pelikan m200 gold marble and another one If I could get the name right...)

Yes there was a note with the pens, but not handwritten. Aahh printers. The pearl marbled Swan is a beauty and going in my collection, i think.

Besides, I have seen enough videos of yours to be confident in that, after restoration, those pens would become fully functional and superb examples.
Moreover, seen like this, together in a bunch, the pens might be impressive, but, after being worked out and shown separately, they would be breathtaking.
I am sure that you would choose out of them the most beautiful examples to enrich your pen collection and I hope that we would have the chance of seeing some in a video or two.
I wish you great success in restoring those pens that just arrived to you and in finding new homes for most of them.

What is the nicest pen you have come across?
I have had lots of lovely pens that i now regret selling. However due to finances it was regrettable but necessary. If i was wealthy (which i am not) then i would have some very nice pens. My current favorite pen is my Onoto Magna fountain pen. Thanks

I collect Russian watches.Would like to collect Russian pens.
I have only managed to find one on the bay. Hooded nibbed yellow plastic one with its own white push pull converter. Name on box all in Russian.
Are they hard to find.

I'm so intimidated by all the brands out there. I just started buying old fountain pens to restore and wanted to know what are some easy brands for beginners at restoration? Really like your video!!
Practice on cheap pens first like some Platignum pens or any others you can find. Then when you feel confident then you can look at more expensive pens. Good luck and thanks for watching.
