It’s kinda like joking and being like, I’ll act like an adult and people see me as one, but I don’t feel like one.

@@typhoon1oon Actually 19 is considered an adolescent. Legally it’s an adult (usually but this depends). But legally an adult and developmentally an adult are not the same. The law is arbitrary, it’s not science and it doesn’t reflect when people are actually mentally adults. Late adolescence is actually from 17/18-20/21.
And in my country, I am not even fully legal and am considered a minor in certain contexts. So no, I’m not an adult. I’m literally a teenager lol
