People were right when they said parents kill most dreams
@@khansaderyqa4498 Well. No matter what happens, Go for your dreams and keep moving forward😊
Same girl, my parents want me to become surgeon but i want to become engineer
just like mine woho
Tbh I’d rather have my parents choose my job for me since I have no dreams at all. My parents support me in anything I do as long as I am happy but I honestly don’t know what to do with my life :(

That boy is going to become a famous artist for sure, or even an architecture.
Kikifeisty architect* not architecture 😂😂😂😂
Dark Bloom blame autocorrect
@@tank06287 oh relax. you understood what she meant. people make mistakes once in a while
lol I just imagined him as a building
Lol architecture isn't just drawing though. Its a lot of work. And he needs to be somewhat good at studying.
I'm an architecture student and I thought I was good at drawing... I'm not even close to drawing as good as him! And to know that he drew all that with a pen! He's extremely talented. I believe he can grow up to be a famous architect one day. He has huge potential to be an Urban Planner. His father is not wrong either, of course he needs to study to get a license so I hope he realises that a little effort will bring him great results.
hey i am also architecture student ^^ his drawing is really good and its such a waste if he doesnt use it in future, especially with the futuristic one i bet his imagination is wilddd and it will be good for concept design ♡.♡
Thats true
Exactly, that's the problem with schooling though. You may be amazing talented in one thing, but you have to be good at everything else to get the grades to get into a good college/university.
It's even more impressive that he draw them by imagination.
Having godlike drawing skill wouldn't make you a great Architect. CAD and BIM were created for a reason. At the end of the day everyone will have to learn em and use them more than pen and paper.
What's more deciding is having a good eye for how different spaces relate to each other to visualize your idea into a concept design, in short, great imagination. Luckily, it seems like he has it.
i can't even draw a straight line.

Use a ruler
I can’t even put a dot on a peice of paper or draw in coloring books😂😂I feel your pain
@@eaten_kookie6247 it still comes out a bit wobbly, i guess.
@@penguinwithawaist590 yes?
I thought they were exaggerating about his talent, then they showed the actual drawings 😲 Extremely impressive. And after 1 year only!!!!! He really has spatial intelligence. He can achieve a lot with his talent.
Same!!!
He does!!!! I was thinking that if he was here in America alot of people would want him to work for them. And probably steal his ideas too 😫
i swear to god u say this on every fucking video
z
He is truly a genius, without reference? Man, his imagination can get really wild. He's so good.
The fact that he drew by pen and just using his imagination! I would puke if i had to draw that much details!
It just sounds like his dad won't acknowledge his son's obvious talent until it starts generating money... which is typical for parents like that... some kids just don't do well academically... at least he has artistic talent.. his dad needs to learn how to be encouraging instead of dismissing his talents to "toughen up" his son.
I agree.
If the kid becomes rich, his dad will be like "I knew you will make it" lol
Since I started studies I had this thing for all kinds of arts but my mom was so adamant on me doing science so I had to do that and now I am a student nurse which was never my dream but I do well to work hard coz in the end its all about the money to everyone😏
@@IRE300 I feel you man, I'm a psychology student and my mom wants me to become a therapist. I actually want to go into social work and my mom sat in front of me and just talked about how I'm gonna make no money. She kinda crushed my dream, you know? Now I feel like I just have to become a therapist BECAUSE they make good money. But I can understand my mom, money used to be hard for us so she doesn't want me to live like how we used to live.
@@EM-nn8dy you understanding your mom and knowing why she is saying that would help you cope. Same with my mom, a divorcee with a child. She tried her possible best and she doesn't want me to pick a job that's not stable that could make me suffer later so I understood her. Hon, you are going to be just fine, keep working hard and u can even end up getting what both of u want. My prayers are with you and ur FAM😊
I think this is a TMI but I am actually trying to open a boutique (at least it's related to fashion and creativity) thus I would have something I enjoy doing he he.
The boy is not gifted academically, he is artistic and mainstream schooling is not for him. Some times I wish the show had professionals to give their opinions, for instance, educational psychologist would be able to pick up that the boy's poor grades are not because he does not effort but because he has challenges and refer him to a special school that would nurture his talent.
The show actually has behind the scene psychologists who review the story before sending it out.
That's a typical assumption, school is not for you due grades? They might be facing problems such as age, psychological illness and even bad parenting.grades don't define people intelligence
I don't know about other countries but in mine everyone has to finish high school before getting into a school of their specialty. Saying studies do not matter if you have talent is completely wrong. What's he gonna do with all that talent if he doesn't know how to use it? The drawings he made are not decorative art, they're architectural designs. He clearly said he's interested in building designs. If he doesn't get a degree in architecture or even art then he'll just be wasting his talent. Studies are there for a reason, saying they don't matter because you don't wanna study isn't right.
That is true. If he enters art school it would be different. Because they will focuses more on Arts n skills. Which is a normal school won't offer
@@fatimakhairunnisa6053 I never said he should be out of school, I simply implied that he needs to be in a special school for kids who might be struggling in a normal school. In such schools the focus is not so much on academics but in developing skills, for instance, a vocational school might not be a idea for idea.
His drawings are like adult coloring books...very therapeutic. I would buy one.
Nanette oh that would be amazing if he made an adult coloring book😍
I’d like to see them as calendars too. There’s so much to look at and each month would be different but still have the same vibe :)
KaraKara cool idea😍
If he wants his father's approval he could just make a while coloring book to earn a little money, that would definitely be a good idea

As a Graphic Designer his talent is amazing. I remember I started drawing early and quick too but my parents, who didn’t approve definitely crushed my dream at first. BUT I wanna say don’t give up! Carribean and Asian families are hard to please so don’t let them get to you!
I want to do animation before but my mother didnt really approved it so I want to do architecture now but she wanted me to be an engineer and thought it was still the same thing (because of math). I was like: ????

But my mom told me to be realistic and I ended up staying in state, and we dont have any art schools here they're expensive too and neither me or my parents could afford it, so now I'm studying criminal justice 😪 my goal changed to be able to support my parents after they retire
Patuutie Snufflegus you should do art on the side. Keep yourself happy and stop worrying about your parents who obviously EXPECT you to take of th m rather then kindly hope. I hate parents who make their children unhappy for such selfish reasons

If you are proud of your son's drawing, just tell him that.
It might be embarrassing, but if you don't, he won't ever know.
He'll only remember the cold things you did to him, and hate you for it.
He'll study, he have the knack for it. All he needs is a little complement and that damn thumbs up.
If ur drawing is that good then u can be confident all u want! Wow... this kid is really good, hope he continue drawing despite his father ignorance..
Not really. No matter how smart you are, or how good you sing, dance, draw, etc, you still should be humble.
I didn’t expect his drawings to be that good, they’re seriously amazing oh my lord
Whystraywhenyoucanstay hi stay
Rae Park hii blink ;)
I get why the dad would be concerned but the son could perhaps take architecture. It requires a lot of drawing and most importantly a lot of imagination, which he definitely has.
It also requires math as well tho. He would need to work on his grades...
Lee Hye architecture actually does not require that much math, it requires more physics. Also if he isn’t a hard worker, he won’t be able to make it in architecture college anyway. The whole degree is heavily dependent on projects, both 3d and 2d. I said architecture because it can get you a well paying job which the dad wanted and has elements of drawing which the son likes so it could be a compromise but it’s not an easy major so yeah.

I felt so sad for the lad when the guy next to him hugged him so hard and praised him for his incredible talent. His dad should be praising him like that.
So true. A parent should be his biggest fan, loudest cheerleader. But I'm glad that host gave him that hug, because he needed it and deserved it.
To think that he never went for any drawing class yet his sense of proportions and perspective are insanely good!! People screw up perspectives even while drawing a simple landscape, and he makes goddamn aerial view cityscapes without reference with computer accuracy.
He is A GENIUS. To make these up from his head, just 1 year from drawing? He's gonna be accepted into a great art college for sure!

This is kid amazing, they're not lying when they say genius! To just develop a talent like this in a year is unbelievable, I hope he can pursue whatever field he wants and that he only continues to grow! His talent shouldn't be wasted and he's a such a kind and sweet person on top of it, he'll be successful in life!
I think he should join a movie project. Animation movie. And he become a designer of the movie background.
His drawing directly reminds me of Final Fantasy series.
That's what i was thinking!
I can see that this guy is a genius. In terms of academic he can do well if he wants to. He is just not in the mood to do it, since he didn't get any encouragement from his father. Just my observation.
I used to draw cities also On every thing school books, tables ,walls
And now i am an architect !
He is really talented 💚💚
Wow! You're good!
I wish he sees this comment
his son can start selling his art pieces and make money on the side. im not sure if people can auction their art pieces but that'll be cool too. hope that somebody would sponsor his artistic views and talent and put it to good use. then he can make a name for himself and make his art known over the world as well.
He can draw for commisions.
No wonder why other kids gets discouraged because of their parents not being able to appreciate their child's work. - Fighting saeng just do what you know you are good at.. I believe the talent that you have will make you successful.
He's probably the only one I've seen on this show who, although not receiving outward love and praise from a parent, doesn't have insecurity issues. He was even bullied and beaten at school but it's good to see resilience and a good outcome (in the boy) like this.
This show doesn't even have to clickbait it's great
He could be an amazing architect planner or something. There is something about his drawings that make them look very *contemporary and unique.* Lowkey I wanted to see more of his drawings (like people).
He reminds me of my son who has Aspergers, they are two peas in a pod. all the signs are there including the way he speaks and present himself, my son always plays games and makes games from ideas in his mind, These kids are extremely talented and intelligent, just they can't really handle the normal schooling situation. my son was in a special class for ages. also, mine craft is great. I play it and I
am probably around his dad's age
Spot on! It sounds like art and music are his primary stemming strategies; I'm convinced because of how savant his skills are for only a year's worth of experience.
I actually also have aspergers, and i thought we were really similar. Now i know why
savant
It's heartbreaking to see tbh, I hope he gets diagnosed asap!
Agreed! The minute he started talking I was like, Ah! Aspergers for Sure.
Woah!! His drawing are crazy!! I mean crazy!! I mean so beautiful that my jaw literally dropped and want go see his more work!
I think the father and the son are on the autistic spectrum. On another note I had a friend who was a great graphic artist, but when he started working in the recording business, his parents would ask him when will he get a job. Finally, after a couple of Grammys, they accepted his work.
After couple of Grammys-
Then the son is a savant, having spatial skills...

when they show the pict for the first time, it's like i saw cities in RPG Games.. it's super good ~~
If i draw something like that, it wouldnt get finished. Once I start a drawing I have to finish it the same day or it wont get done. He has talent, good job for the no procrastination

I'm dead without realising if i do that
Stephen Rio you greet your parents that way?! I would get killed if I did, and I live in America, also.

Genuinely not sure if the replies are being sarcastic or they legitimately missed the joke.
for the people in the replies, I never cussed my parents but I'm pretty sure she didn't mean than she greeted her parents cussing. But indeed, in America, it is more common to see people talk with their parents informally bc people are less conservative. In a lot of families, if they are really really close and don't have a problem with "bad words", they cuss at each other and it's fine (a great example are Italian families, that are known for cussing a lot)
He can create a movie like Ghibli 😂

After seeing his drawings, I definitely think a job like a Concept Artist would be great for him. Since he says he just imagines worlds and draws them, and he would be able to draw concept worlds for games or even tv shows/movies. I hope he can pursue his love for art for many more years and find a stable job~ Especially since we're the same age so I wanna see him succeed xD

I hope he does come around to truly support his son from now because he's truly talented and I know he's going to live out his dream one day - would hate for his father to miss out on sharing that with him because their relationship crumbled over time
I wish I could be as confident with my drawing as him, even though everyone around me says I’m good at drawing I always think I'm lacking. I'm so happy for him I wish him the best.
parents honestly only think about studies and if you cant study well you are basically useless. he studied well and also draws well too,, but still does not get any recognition? his drawing is beyond amazing,, i hope he becomes a famous artist or architecture in the future

If that's without any teaching, I can't even begin to imagine the things he will achieve if he gets the proper acknowledgement and the environment to grow his artistic abilities. If his father actually cared for his talent, he could begin to study at an art school or maybe even become an architect.
When he said “I cussed at him” and everyone got shook, I was like “that’s common for most kids to do in America😂😂” and I said *MOST* cause I’m not like that and I know other kids aren’t too.
Charlotte Wireko yeah and this is still shocking, you just don’t cuss at your parents. This is a really bad thing and I don’t see anything funny about that. It’s horrible and those kids need a serious beating.
@@Ateezwooyoung I'm not saying that it's a good thing, but it's pretty much the norm here. Either the parents cuss at the kids, the kids cuss at the parents, or the cuss at each other. Sometimes it's also just their way of bonding.
pink girl there is no specific ethnicity that does it, it’s just kids in America. Literally Americans and Americans are diverse, I’m black and I don’t cuss at my parents, they don’t cuss at me. As an Asian kid, I can really feel that cursing at parents is very hurtful and disrespectful. Esp for Korean it’s very frowned upon. Most of asian kids doesn’t have friend like bond with parents, so we view parents as someone we should respect most.

that was really crazy how he can draw like that with only one year. that's so detailed and he is talented! it just his dad doesn't have good taste in drawing nor art
