Raccoon babies on my legs

- I decided to sit in the woods with wild raccoons and pour peanuts between my legs. Soon enough, some babies were crawling on me getting food. What a wonderful feeling! The problem is, though, a mischievous Missy raccoon keeps growling and getting too close for comfort. I normally say the closer, the better, but not with this one. She takes my sweet and calm moments with Cutie's babies and makes it stressful.

Goodness Missy was VERY aggressive to Cutie -- but Cutie got the cookie in the end! That little baby straddling your leg, so cute! Cutie is, as always, a real sweetheart! That way that baby jumped when you gently grabbed his tail! 🥰The last shot(s) of the baby -- that FABULOUS ringed-tail!

Raccoons do not have the best eye sight. You are right only 35% of Raccoons Worldwide have rabies. It is easy to spot a rabid Raccoon.
BTW Raccoons love hot dog sausages.

Well I learned one thing...... On the next recipe challenge do not use pretzels. Lol. Not a big hit. I think you have four friends for life with them little babies. .. Johnny number 5 is yet to be seen. I think the little babies like playing with that ball. Missy only wants it because they have it. She is definitely a grumpy mama... . Maybe she has tons of kids lol. And a low patience level. 😅. Someone should come up with a raccoon mosquito spray product. I know you and Mrs oon are not parents, and are an awesome aunt and uncle..... But if you guys ever did decide to have kids you would make a great father. You are so wonderful with each and every one of them. By the way I don't think Missy is scared of that milk jug. You better bring something else next time. My husband watched this video and sent it to me. We've had two raccoons as pets. Ricky and Rocky. Ricky was already older and he ended up escaping but came back about once every few months to visit, and also hung out with neighbors. Haven't heard from him for about a year, or so.... But Rocky... I have a friend that works for animal control. She got a call that they found a den full of six baby raccoons and she went to help and obviously momma raccoon had not been there. (Being my friend she knew I knew what to do, so she brought me a box full of babies, and she helped me fill their tummies and give them some love) mind you, in my state they're supposed to be euthanized.
I raised Rocky since before his eyes and ears opened. I woke up during the night to bottle feed him, I helped him go potty, I kept him warm ... I'm his momma. I know they love fresh and frozen fruit. Stay away from bananas, that adds to the mosquitos.. you could spray them with garlic water, that can help with the mosquitos... I don't know where you live, but I love raccoons. My baby Rocky is such a sweet boy. He sits on my shoulder and we play in his kiddie pool together. I don't make content because, again, I'm in a rude state that doesn't like racoons. But he plays fetch and catch. He's so smart!
I appreciate viewers like you so much! You understand how marvelous they are. My state, and city especially, frowns on what I do. Neighbors have me sneaking off to the woods in order to continue my friendships with them. Last year I played games every week on my patio with them. I'd put out piñatas, instruments, holiday fun, sporting gadgets, etc. And made exciting videos interacting with raccoons. Many I knew as babies and I formed incredible relationships with. I've known the Godmother raccoon since 2016 and saw her again tonight.
Forrest Grump really LOVED chicken jerky! And it has lots of protein! And dry for your pockets! He loved Full Moon chicken jerky (kinda expensive)and turkey tendons.
Also, something to consider, I'm trying out Spartan Mosquito Pro tubes in my back yard - just hung them up today.

Looks like the raccoons are not bothered by the mosquitoes.
Otherwise you could spray them with Pet Safe mosquito spray for cats and dogs.

Hoomans are ignorant about wildlife. People say raccoons only come out in the daytime if they are sick, rabies etc. Mine always come out in daytime and no biting. I am so jealous, you have a baby on your leg! 😢 Lucky you...😊❤❤❤❤

I’m jealous,too. We live in a rabies area and I’m super careful when feeding. They will take chicken bologna from my fingers, but I am careful not to be bitten. I also agree….you can easily spot a sick raccoon. They come every day and you get to know their personalities. 🐾🐾💖🐾🐾
I know you get nervous when Missy tries sneaking up on you from the side/behind. But perhaps you should give her the chance to come directly to you and climb up on you. After all that's exactly what mine did while I was basically sitting and unpacking some of the boxes 📦 just after I had moved into my house 🏠 i kept a 👁 eye on him as he looked into all the boxes 📦 as he kept getting closer to me. Till he started drinking the juice outta my glass next to me. When I took it away because he still had a bowl of water on the floor in the kitchen. He reached up and smacked me upside the head knocking my glasses 👓 off. And that's as vicious as he's ever been 😂😏🤣

Like i said mine circled around like Missy keeps doing with you 😏 eventually after I tried to chase and catch mine to throw him outside for doing that i gave up because he stayed just outta reach. So i went to bed 🛌 and just as i started to doze off he came over and curled up beside me.

I have had pet raccoons. I know it can be expensive, but have you tried fruit? (frozen or fresh) my friends (Ricky and Rocky) have loved grapes, cherries, mango, apple, strawberries, oranges. .. just no bananas...that attracts mosquitos. you could also try some garlic in small doses. If they'll eat it, it will help with the mosquitos.
So far they've only shown an interest in grapes 🍇. I have mulberry trees that they love. I planted grapes, blueberries, red and blackberries too for them.
