It was ridiculous. I mean what did people expect a song called “War of Hormone” to be about?? They completely blew it out of proportion, especially when there is content out there that’s actually problematic like you said.
The thing is... BTS started to grow and show potential
These people were "multis" and fans of other groups who were ready to tear them down when they acted to be threatening, they will nitpick anything when, even other popular kpop boygroups, had borderline offensive lyrics.
It was very targeted and only got worst in later years

I also feel bad for Namjoon, he's the best leader yet people tend to overlook his achievements and his role in BTS. Jhope is also a very talentes man as well. I appreciate Everyone of them so I hope Everybody will talk about all of them. Love the all the Seven guys, everybody.
in my opinion hobi is one of the most talented idols and humans tbh and one of the prettiest members!! his glow up is real even tho debut hobi will forever be my fav :(

Keep in mind please that Suga and j-hope have always written their own verses and have 110+ songs to their names too. Joon is the heart of BTS' music for sure but the signature vulnerability and bite that Suga brings and the signature optimism and cultural context that Hobi brings are critical components of BTS' lyrical legacy.
@@jhopeur7219 absolutely true!! the rapline is so very important when it comes to this but I also have to say ( I don’t want to word this wrong) but joon has sometimes written their verses to and vice versa. he’s written literally most of their songs including every hit and so much more but he’s hardly given credit within the fandom and that upsets me tbh. but I’d never ignore sopes work ever. but I’ve just noticed ( i bias hobi so i know trust me) but I’ve just been noticing that these boys don’t know anything about joon out of all the members and I also noticed they don’t really ever talk about him when 2 of the eps were based around joon? idk if gives me weird vibes :/
RM is really smart the other members often say they get jealous of RMs brain because he has a different way of thinking than others. Also in run bts where they need to solve problems, he can do mental maths pretty quick.
That is why we Armiessss say " BTS paved the way" and they are Kings and will be no. 1 for forever 💜🥺
You're right that every member receives hate. Actually just recently about last month, Tae, on Weverse, posted saying that he wanted to shoot poison darts at the haters' necks because he was literally stalked and getting immense hate for simply hanging out with his friend. But the scene about j-hope and the hate he was getting was a little different because it made him genuinely think about leaving BTS altogether (keep in mind they didn't have as many fans back then as they do now). BTS talk about this in their docuseries, but j-hope nearly left because of the hate and it took Jungkook crying and the rest of the members begging him not to leave to change his mind (thank God for that). BTS to this day still receive immense hate. The worst this year was at the time of the Grammys--a lot of it was racism. But we can rest assured that BTS have 90 million+ armys who will defend them. Always.
Agreed. Armys are VERY protective of our idols. And we would do anything for them and to protect them! AT ALL COSTS! BTS deserve so much. And no one can take that away from them as long as they have us with them ready to defend them

Becoming a fan literally a year ago when I started to learn about all this hate jhope gotten I cried especially when he didn't get any birthday wishes back then I'm so happy things gotten better it still doesn't sit right in my heart how mean people were 🙁

Notice also how grateful NJ was that they showed up to his MV filming. Usually in idolland what can happen is: when 1 member does their solo projects, the rest mind their business (maybe post something online) OR 1-2 members really good friends with them appear on set (taking they don't have another schedule!!). But with bangtan, they did have a lot to do, NJ was doing this and filming Problematic Men, AND promoting WoH, the rest of the members went there to cheer him up. They are all adorable.
All the members deserve all the success, praises, and love they have. Jhope got sm hate back then it’s so sad😞 Jimin is also getting hated on. He’s like Kpop target aka one of the most hated idols in Kpop. He’s always being dragged in drama he’s not even a part of. Theirs group chats that were exposed where antis/solos just talk sh*t about Jimin. From bodyshaming, death threats, rape, defaming him, being transphobic, making racist comments to wishing d34th upon him. They even planed to ruin his Birthday in the most vilest way possible. Like the hate for Jimin has gotten so far many times, even recently. Some army made a video on TikTok cuz they had enough of it. So we are trying to report them and to the agency. It’s honestly ridiculous🙄These people have nothing better to do with their lives.

RM has talked about it in the past and just recently during the Festa. The trending “untalented“ hashtags and comments against J-Hope and also Jin. Jungkook was targeted a lot from akgaes from other members and antis especially since 2019, so he wasn‘t even on social media for a long time before 2021. Jimin, Tae and Suga have also soo many antis, who are just jealous and drag the boys for the smallest things. Just recently JK said something to his haters at their online concert and Tae made a Weverse post, where he quoted lyrics from “Ugh“ after an incident.
I just don‘t get it how people can hate other people who they don‘t even know and who didn‘t do anything bad so much and think that it is ok or funny to spread so much hate. That‘s why ARMY are so protective.

Can't wait for you to see the concert. I saw them in Chicago in 2019 and it was awesome just being in the same place that they were. We froze, it was raining the whole time and was only 34 degrees and we were soaked through. I hope I get to see them again sometime but if I don't I have once and I will take that. Have fun all of you!! Everytime I hear hateful comments about any of the members of BTS it makes my blood boil. They don't deserve any of it, they are just kind, hard working and talented young men! LEAVE THEM ALONE!! I don't even usually read anything negative about them because it just makes me angry and sad......

@@jenniferkpopmultistan8781 First of all we were in the nose bleed section clear at the top so of course we couldn't see anything up close. BTS looked like stick figures but of course there were the BIG screens to help see them but not the same to see them up close but then better than nothing. Jungkook couldn't ride that small platform that he wrode over the top of the fans because of the rain so we missed out on that, but thats okay because it looked dangerous to me without the rain. We went the second night and he did ride on it the first night. Even though I would have loved to be up close to the guys, their voices were beautiful as usual and so glad we had the oportunity to go. It was only a 6 hour drive and we stayed for 3 nights and had a window that looked out over the Chicago Pier so was really cool. Of course the concert was a once in a life time thing for me and will never forget it!!! Sorry so long...

@@jenniferkpopmultistan8781 We didn't know anything about a fan meet but I think if they have one you have to pay for that or some people are picked to do the fan meets. Don't know how that works but it isn't for everyone. That would take days to meet every Army that they have...LOL

I have to say that social media continues to bring the worst out in people. Things they wouldn’t feel comfortable saying in person to somebody else, they type with ease online. It’s really sick, and it’s just so toxic and negative. I have so much respect for hobi and all the guys for not allowing the constant hate to break them because personally, I wouldn’t be able to handle it😭
Yes Namjoon is a bona fide genius. Totally brilliant brain.
No it's actually stupid because j-hope is probably the most well-rounded idol in the industry. He raps, dances, writes, sings, composes, produces, and performs and he does all of that at an exceptionally high level. I feel he has a giving supportive personality which makes him tend to be in pillar/foundation roles so he's not front and center as much as his talent would normally call for so people who just dip their toes in or peak in the window don't give him his dues. But anyone who has been with BTS for any substantial amount of time knows that j-hope is a whole ace and one of the top idols in the game. And anyone who's seen them live knows he's the performer of our generation.
It was pretty rough for the boys and J-hope 😞 I would get mad and wonder why people spread such mindless hate online. Constructive criticisms are okay, but spreading hate and being disrespectful is not. But here's the thing. The good thing about getting hate is it makes the victory a whole lot sweeter. Look at Hobi and the boys now. Proving everyone wrong. I remember Namjoon admitting in the BTS Festa 2021 that they can look back at those hard years and be thankful for it, because it made them who they are now. Stronger. Wiser.
P.S. I realize that since you don't watch til the end of the chapters you don't get to see the funny stuff during the credits 😟

Once again what were your thoughts on RM this episode? Anything? No? I watched this thinking maybe this time we will have some insight into the third rapper they refuse to acknowledge but still nothing. 🙃 Maybe watch some more Namjoon content you will be able to learn more about him, all Army know about his IQ and you've been around a while. I promise you he's great aswell as your biases. OT7 should take priority.

I just wish more people would give RM the love and recognition he deserves!🤷♀️ I do try to be understanding that most everyone has a bias(is it obvious that mine is Namjoon?😆), but also I try never to over look any of the members for their contributions or talents and I just hope they will start to do the same!

Thank you Bang PD…. RM is awesome and needs to stop tearing himself down..all these guys are and need to not let people get them down. As someone who has struggled with self hate and depression for years and still occasionally does,we need to remember that these are actually people we are talking about here….. who is to know if they watch it or not and never say anything but it might feed into the pressure for them… they are after all, human. JHope is an amazing young man himself. I think the world tends to forget the amazing amount of pressure these 7 human beings are always under…. And yet, these guys remember when it was hard, they remember their friendship, their families, they stay humble. That’s what I like about them.

namjoon is hands down the heart of bts 🥺 please pay more attention to him 😅 i was really hoping to hear you talk about him since you never react to any of his videos. he was originally going to be a poet and is one of the smartest people in music and is an actual proven genius. like he excels in every single type of intelligence-- emotional, linguistic, interpersonal, existential, logical, the list goes on. he's a writer, composer, producer, and one of the most philosophical and well-rounded people ever, and he is the youngest person with the most music credits in south korea. he's helped create nearly every BTS song in existence and truly is the one who keeps armys and bts tied together... like i'm not exaggerating when we say he is the heart and soul of bts. i hope you react to some of his videos in the future :(

I used to be someone who didn't like BTS and ARMY (I never cursed them, I just didn't like them, there were many problems). I follow the crowd, I don't know about they and just listen to other people's words (there are ARMY impersonators who cause trouble for real fans). But when I started to learn about BTS, I realized that BTS and ARMY are really bullied by the media, they are stigmatized no matter what and no one wants to find out the truth, just a bad caption, everyone will immediately believe it.
Right now, this situation doesn't get any better, it's just that ARMYs have become stronger to be able to protect BTS. Media, haters, toxic people hate them for whatever reason, I've seen the whole the truth. Now I'm proud to be an ARMY and I'll always protect my boys.
