Almost every doll/toy i see in ads gets their own show, we absolutely need a pidgin dolls series! I can already imagine fully glam and fashionable characters in your style animated, getting their own story etc. it would be amazing.

This is VERY good for a first to at animation!
My animation advice (as an animator) would be to add 1 or 2 extra frames when her feet are in the ground. The idea is it’s harder to get up than down so it takes longer. But it looks AMAZING!

This is amazing! I love it! As a student in animation, I recommend studying the flow of dresses and hair since that’s the main elements in ur dolls, the dress in this animation would look a lot more scrumptious if u made it more flowy and poofy going down and flat when she jumps up!

Here’s a tip: When she’s in the air moving upwards, the dress should be flat, and when she’s moving downwards, then it should poof out as it catches air. It looks like the opposite is happening in the animation.

Too relatable
Reverse the skirt animation, since gravity would dictate that its against her more while she's rising, and poofing out while she's falling. And, give more frames for the parts where her hair is at the apex/lowest point, and less frames for her sides. It will give an illusion of speed

it needs more expression, depending but also breaking the rules of physics helps it becomes more cartoony. Better production of animation and smoother movements

heres a tip for when your drawing quick "action" stuff like you did right now!
add anticipation! you don't immediately jump up from a standing position, you crouch down a bit to build up force and THEN you jump up.
when you throw a ball, you wind your hand back and then launch, instead of just letting go and the ball moves forward somehow..
anticipation makes the animation more realistic and smoother, so i suggest you practice it more and then add them into ur animations. Otherwise you did an amazing job!

i do lots of animation and honestly, for a first animation it looks great!! just a tip if you plan to animate again, try to sketch out your timing to make everything time properly, like say the jump in the air gets a little choppy :) other than that, practice makes perfect and i’m sure you’ll get the hang of it! keep it up!

A tip if you want it! Try drawing her a the bottom of her jump, then the top, then the bottom again, THEN connect them by adding frames in the middle! It really helps make things smoother! Its called key frame animation

Tip: if you reverse the skirt movement then in might look more natural do to how the weight works: jumping up: wind goes down. Jumping down: wind goes up. Hope this helps! (Ps: this looks amazing!)
