the legend of zelda new leaf
Hello, Hero! Let's get you set up! :D
legend of zelda 9AM theme
I didn't find this village for almost a year. Felt like the game's last big surprise to me and I'll always adore it for that
Same man. I love tropical settings in video games
well in BOTW there's never a "last big surprise"...
@@lucar3941 I mean a surprise on the same level as finding a new shrine, seeing the dragons for the first time, stuff like that. It was like the last big thing I saw -- I had otherwise 100%'d the game. I even found the shrines there but just did not see the village
I didn't find it for a while either!! Then when I did it always felt like an IRL vacation going there lol
When i had to get the shock arrows from the Lynel for the Divine Beast Vah Ruta. I just bought a bunch of them here in the village.
best village in the game, it gives me wind waker vibes
its literally outset island lmao
@@Diamoondust it is?
@@ByrneTheWorld10 go check it out
To believe this masterpiece of a game has both almost sub-zero temperatures and then there is also a whole volcano that’s scorching hot. Hyrule’s climate is something else...
Add a reply...
It's like a slice of the Caribbean right here in Hyrule!
*javanese
Java in hyrule
I get so much Delfino Plaza vibes from both this song and village.
Whenever I come to Lurelin, I like playing Porgy Golf.
Now you're probably wondering what "Porgy Golf" is.
Well, I came up with the idea when I was hitting the Roasted Porgy off of the Fishing Harpoons next to the campfire near the shop. I attempted to hit them into the fire to burn them.
So then, I bought some Mighty Porgy and laid them a bit away from the fire. Using the Fishing Harpoon, I hit them into the campfire, and that's how Porgy Golf was created!
The rules:
You must use a MIGHTY Porgy. No Armored Porgy or Roasted Porgy or other fish or whatever.
You must use a Fishing Harpoon. Use any other spear if you have no space. Only spears.
Stand quite far away from the campfire.
You cannot stand past the little bits of wood behind you, in the water, in or behind the campfire, though.
Place your Mighty Porgy once you've found a good spot.
Grab a Fishing Harpoon and attempt to hit it in into the campfire.
If it turns into a Roasted Porgy, you're finished and can now eat it.
If it burns, you lose.
Try out Porgy Golf if you're ever in Lurelin Village! It's honestly so fun.

"The great Link was quite small (for a Hylian) but could still ride a real horse, and even a giant horse. He charged the ranks of the mighty porgies of the sea in the """battle""" of Lurelin Village, and knocked their porgy king Golfimporgy clean off the ground with a fishing harpoon. It sailed a bit away through the air and went into the campfire, and in this way the battle was won and the game of Porgy Golf invented at the same moment."
Your comment reminded me of The Hobbit.
@@realhighduck Thank you.
THIS NEEDS MORE LIKES
Best village in the game. Fight me
The Sassy Carrot agreed
would rather live here than hateno village
Let's rather drink tropical drinks while eating seafood paella.
*Laughs in Bird-Man*
facts
I litteraly live at this village just for this relaxing music
This song is very beautiful. And it indeed encapsulates a quiet, peaceful, beach-side tropical village that seems to have not ever fallen on hard times even though the rest of the world around them did. Someone who writes a Zelda-universe couple, original character or otherwise, this has to be their honeymoon destination.
I have an BotW OC, and she lives in Lurelin :D
@@violetamartinez910 Like as in a fan story or plain legit a character?
@@moltenking2362 a fan story!
This reminds me of Hawaii. I've been to Honolulu and Waikiki
'not ever fallen on hard times' lol well TOTK put an end to that
I love how it's an ocarina playing the post-chorus. Really nice touch and adds a bit more relaxation to the song.
crazy how some people will go their entire playthrough of botw's story without ever coming here
im people
I had discovered it when I was exploring the southern areas before going to the Gorons' mountain. Definitely did not expect to find a new village
It is hands down the greatest village in the game, but why did they have to hide it off in a corner? And the only reason I found it was because I was looking for the Climber’s Gear set.
I didn’t find it till all divine beasts done.
Lurelin definitely needed something like a memory or a tech lab.
Maybe botw 2
i fr defeated ganon and afterwards did the heart pond side quest and on the way there i talked to a random stranger who said he was going to lurelin village and i was like “lurelin village? what’s that...”
Im people too. I found it eventually tho
Comfy and cozy writtin all over this theme 👍🏻
Sometimes i go here just to go here like i just love this place. Also like shooting arrows at the palm fruit :D
Places like Lurelin Village are a nice change of pace, especially since about 37% of Hyrule is mountain and snow apparently
If this isn’t playing at my beach party I ain’t throwing beach parties anymore
Listening to this in Hawaii is such a great combination, please try it out whenever you get the chance to go to Hawaii :)
I DID!😀. When I finally landed in Honolulu and walked outside the terminal, this song came to mind.
@@biruss Awww I’m glad!! It just fits right :)
Going to Hawaii in a few days, gonna do this
one of the themes that jus sounds like home fr
Here For the Calming Vibes this Brings as it’s the Only thing Keeping me sane during this 2020 Virus
God same
Night version is so much better
the way this was five months ago... kind of hurts
Who could dislike this song? Those two people don’t know a masterpiece when it’s being played in front of them. Or they are Sony fans. 😂
What do you mean by Sony fans
@@spamtong5478 The fans of other consoles that are “salty” about not having BotW. This song originated from BotW, and the game is only available on the Nintendo Switch, so players who play on other consoles do not have the opportunity to play this game.
Oh so a Sony fan is like That so a Sony fan would be that one kid from middle school who flexed at the Nintendo fans cos they thought that they were more "grown up" and "mature" cos they played call of duty
my favorite village theme for sure
it really beat Tarrey town tho?
@@shame2189 yep that town is ok, but the sea videos off of this song are amazing.
Goated village music in 21st century zelda ❤
Many comments seems to point out similarities with Animal Crossing
All I see is Wind Waker
This is by far the most animal crossing-esq track in the game
True, sorry that the first commenter let their bad mood out on you
Reminds me of animal crossing or sun and moon
For me it was actually Wind Waker that first came to my mind
It's the steel drums.
The village that not everyone has found.
honestly most underrated village in the game
dis tune soooo dank
first village i found after getting lost was lurelin village and still is my favorite
0:54 Let, the sun, shine through, the clouds, to paint, the fields, a vi-brant green! 🌄
The world, to-day, seems awfully grey, but soon, the sun, will rise, to usher, a blue skyed day ⛅
it's on beat, this is beautiful
Grand song, I love it
I didn’t even know this village existed til like 100+ hours into the game 😅
I remember back in 2017 I had this dream where a ginormous pirate ship appeared in the bay in this village. I went to investigate and saw dozens of piratey guys walking around the village eating fish and talking to the locals. They were all BOTW artstyle versions of Tetra’s crew (not actually the same characters obviously. They were brought back like Beatle)
I talked to their captain, a guy who looked like a Hylian Jack Sparrow and he told Link that he was looking for more able hands to help with his ship because they were going to sail across the ocean to an island which held ancient treasure but also ancient monsters. Around when Link boarded their boat and set sail I woke up.
I still remember this dream so vividly and how interesting of an idea it could have been for a DLC and how it gave Lurelin a pretty cool purpose as well.
I know TOTK seems to be all about the sky and underground, but I would have loved a little seafaring DLC or something.
What a strangely prophetic dream!
@@zombiewizard45 OMG RIGHT!!!
Lucky for you that that dream kinda comes true in totk
What a beautiful Duwang!
one of my favorite place near the sea.... sometimes I visit this village at night to go buy or sell a monsters stuff...
i remember finding this place long after i had already finished the game i decided to explore southeast and was like “wait, has this been here THE WHOLE TIME? it’s nice, i like it”
I came here for the sea vibes
What about the crabs or the gambling?
Draws comparisons to Super Mario Sunshine.
This helps forget about the quarantine
Yes
Did you know that is the Outset Island 🏝 theme from Wind Waker!Btw how is everyone’s summer break?
To your eternity vibes
It gives me a Jamaican vibes
Best seafood in Hyrule
if i were to live anywhere in hyrule i would live in lurelin village
How is BoTW 2 gonna top this stellar soundtrack?!
he probably means the soundtrack with over 134 tracks
@AndrewWithEase11 11 You don't need to wonder, just have a look at the playlist yourself.
@AndrewWithEase11 11 ... but the tracks don't suck. I agree that there could be more dedicated melodies for some areas, but that's far from "no soundtrack". There are plenty of other great tracks.
@AndrewWithEase11 11 The topic is the collection of all tracks. Adam and I were talking about the soundtrack, which entails all music in the game, and the game does have many great tracks. Whether they are well placed within the game is another topic.
@AndrewWithEase11 11 I repeat it because it is true.
It would make great Hawaiin music
This reminds me of Hawaii. I think lurelin was based on Polynesia.
My home city, i want to build a house here in totk i dont k ow anything about the game but the only spoiler i wouldent mind is if there was housing here, ive spent my 40 hours of gameplay here sailing amd fishing ❤ i am one with the oceannnn
how are there literally only ten other comments on this video???
Lol I know.
I have listened to a dangerous amount of this guy's videos, and it seems like there is literally a comment like this.
We’re too busy enjoying the music
because some other uploader got terminated and now everybody gets directed to this channel when they search?
Yeah
Lurelin Village Is Actually Outset Island From The Wind Waker
If You Open The Map In Breath Of The Wild
Zoom Out Of The Lurelin Village Area And See The Similarities
Even The Watchtower Or Aryll's Lookout Is Found In Breath Of The Wild
Sometimes Seagulls Fly By The Watchtower In Breath Of The Wild
The Only Thing That Is Missing Is The Shelter Protecting Link And Aryll When It Rains I don't Know Why It's Gone In Breath Of The Wild
Just Wear The Hero Of The Winds Clothes In Breath Of The Wild Equip The Hero's Shield Obtained From The Toon Zelda Amiibo And The Travelers Sword Since It Looks Kinda Similar To The Hero's Sword
Some Inconsistencies With Lurelin Village Being Outset Island Are
There Were Not Two Torches Up Top Of The Lookout Post In The Wind Waker
There was A Dock In Wind Waker Where Beatle's Ship Was Found Near Outset Island But In Breath Of The Wild The Dock Is Extended
And There Were Definitely Not Palm Trees Built On Top Of The Houses In Wind Waker
Weren't There Like 3Abandoned Boats Located Near Grandma's House In Wind Waker?
If We Look To Where The Forest Of Faires Once Was In Breath Of The Wild We Find Nothing Just Grass
