Hi Folks, I saw RFM on Wednesday 1/6/22 at Symphony Hall in Birmingham. I have to say they are the best live band I have seen in years, in fact ever seen. If you get the chance to see them, please go as you won't be disappointed. Everyone of them is talented without exception.
That’s brilliant Charles. I love the Symphony Hall, that was one of my standout shows of the tour so far, it always is. Appreciate the kind words.
Great video for all those who love RFM
Glad you enjoyed it
This is great, I have booked tickets to see the Rumours of Fleetwood Mac band play at Kings Lynn corn exchange next year, with my family. My parents are lifelong Fleetwood Mac supporters and they can't wait either
Thanks so much 🤘
totally absorbing scott ive learned so much
Awesome, thanks!
Brilliant thanks Scott!
Brilliant Video - Its amazing the amount of work that goes on behind the scenes and the amount of years and practice the individual members of the band do so that the band can perform a show I am struggling to get my mic adaptor to work with my NO - GoPro Haha. Keep up the great work looking forward to watching your future videos. Best Regards Tom.
Great video……always love rig rundown down material and it’s good to feature not just guitars. Awesome 👍😊
Thanks my man 😊
Fascinating behind the scenes look, thanks .
Nice one Edward. I’m going to be making an updated one for this tour, there’s a few changes in my rig this year.
So cool that Allan pays attention to drum details, such as inverted toms etc. Great dedication! Etienne should play Alembis!
I’m sure if someone bought him one he’d love to! 😆
@@ScottPoleyMusic in the rig rundown it appears that some instruments are owned by the show/the tour, such as the RT Model 1, and some are your personal stuff so I figured the show could aquire an Alembis to add to the authenticity and vibe. :-)
As an amateur musician I'm curious as to how these things work, how much is your own stuff and how much is owned by the "production"? I mean, you're not just another cover band, must be more like a professional company?
Thanks for this and thanks for what you do, your a great band.
Thanks!
Brilliant insight into the technical side thanks for sharing
Thanks Duncan! 👍
Thanks, that was very interesting!
Thanks Magnus! 🤘
I love watching the vlogs that Jess does of behind the scenes which are fascinating but this is next level. Being a musician and a drummer myself this video is awesome. Cos is an awesome drummer and so is the whole band. You are all an inspiration to everyone. ps I’m available for percussion duties ;-)
Yeah I need to get my vlog game on for the next tour. Jess is so consistent with them. Thanks for your comment!!
Loved this insight Scott, and thank you all for sharing. Having seen RFM many times at the Sage, I always thought your Les Paul was an unburst 60’s standard. Stunning guitar though! Best regards.
Nice one Kris. She's a workhorse that Les Paul. Still original frets after many, many gigs. All the best.
Awesome gear! Would love to see a video of how you incorporate the Variax into your setup for fly gigs. I feel like that guitar doesn't get as much love as it should. I've owned one for about 6 years now and love it to pieces. Would love to know how you get those Fleetwood Mac tones out of it.
I have that exact video planned for when we go on tour this year. I agree with you, it's a great guitar 👍
What a great watch. I am an old school acoustic player and don't pretend to know a lot about some of the electronics needed to emulate the sound of FM and drive the performance. It mattered not, I was totally immersed.
Nice one John, it's quite the setup. I'm designing an updated rig for this year's tour, video updates to come 👍
Line 6 Variax guitars are great! Thanks for demo!
Awesome, thanks Bruce. There’s a full Variax video coming to the channel in the next few weeks.
@@ScottPoleyMusic I can't find that video?
Great video Scott. Would love to know why James has an old original Line 6 Pod in his setup. Still got mine!
That's for Dave's electric guitar. I've still got mine too!!
@@ScottPoleyMusic Thanks for taking the time to reply.
HI, I have been a Mac fan since early 80s (when I found my own taste in music) I must say that this band is the last word in tribute bands, they are live music at studio album quality, they performed hit after hit and nailed every one note & tone perfect, I was hoping for Rhiannon for the encore, Emily came back for Song bird, OMG Nailed it, without doubt the best Fleetwood Mac you will hear Now Christine Has sadly Passed away, (never knew so much detail went in to a performance as demonstrated in this video) amazing
That’s great, so glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, we treat it really seriously- that’s what the original material demands.
@@ScottPoleyMusic You and the whole group really do Fleetwood Mac justice, saw you at Newark last week, will not be the last time Thank you for making it possible to see Fleetwood mac at their best.
Emily is the star
She’s amazing, so many people seem to think she mimes. It’s absolute nonsense, she’s incredible.
She is a star but so are the others.
