I first came across the flat whisk in a Goodwill and didn't know what it was, but bought it anyway. Researching later, I found out what it was and that it was recommended for making gravies and sauces.
Well, I'm a southern gal and two things ALL southern gals need to know how to cook from scratch is biscuits and, of course, gravy. I was pretty good at producing lumpless gravy, but decided to give the flat whisk a try.
    OMG!!!!!!!
Impossible to have lumps in gravy made with a flat whisk!
    This revolutionizes my southern cooking!!!
Seriously, it makes a HUGE difference!

I also want to apologize for the rude comments I see on here about your video. People seem not to remember they can just move on to another video they like instead of showing their low IQ. Please keep up this great information and great examples

The over the sink colander is something I wouldnt have thought of but its so versatile! Good for draining veggies. Also a nice basket for using with an ice bath for steamed eggs or veggies

I have found, a larger, longr wisk is so helpful to whip with ease and without getting tiered. to prevent cream to become butter with an electric mixer, I went with the pro-recommendation, to whip by hand. it takes about 2 min. and it is true. about at min 1. 50 I check the first time and then maybe again about 5 min and it is done. I love it, now I know, the larger one is so much easier to use. of course a smaller one for small qanties of whatever, I do have as well. but everything, for which I don't want to be bothered with the electric advice it is helpful. and when I use it on the stovetop for a soup and such. the bigger one, the long size, prevents the fingers from getting burned (ok rather hot :-) )

I need to pickup a sink colander. I never realized how handy one is until you showed it. Also, a nice cushion pad for your feet goes a long way if your in the kitchen for long periods of time. That’s an essential kitchen tool in my book.

I personally would add a big pile of clean kitchen towels (or good paper towels). Maybe I'm a messy home chef... but I'm always wiping something, washing my hands, or drying out washed vegs.

as long as one doesn't scrap a non-stick pan, it is save to use metal tools like the tongs. it's ok. only, when one needs something to flip with a spatula or similar thing, like an egg, then it is best to be save and e.g. use wood or silicone or similar materials

Look! You can keep collecting all sorts of
kitchen gadget, but you have NO storage shelves,
    it is impractical ro keep
like 5 or 6 wooden laddle.
    I ended up storing them
    in boxes and forgetting
    where they are!
