I literally met my wife who lived in Sao Paulo Brazil at the time because of the Saudi's shooting guns video. She posted the video on Facebook and all I did was share it with one of my friends. We started talking over Facebook messenger and 5 years later we are married and watching you guys at my home in Indiana....still cant believe it sometimes. Thanks for the memories!!
Well that was both extremely random and wholesome. I hope you're doing great man, nice story
some of the content are reposts from over a decade ago, but experiences like these make them worthwhile.
to make that story better, the video of the Saudi shooting guns is actually a wedding celebration way in the south of Saudi. now it's forbidden of the danger.
@@comee100 I saw a video where a guy shoot an AK at a wedding and a person got killed. How fucking stupid have you be to been to think this is a good idea? Are there no fire crackers in these places?

I really doubt that. They were probably released the same day with no bail. Just so they could go cause more havoc. This is what democrat run city's are doing and they wonder why crime is skyrocketing.
Police did arrest the three women in their 20s, who are now facing felony charges. Chitara Plasencia and Tatiyanna Johnson were later released. Pearl Ozoria had to post bail. She's accused of stealing $10 from the register and punching an arresting officer in the face.
them twerking tells me they do have 1 way of making a buck quite fast past sundown.
There's always OnlyFans.
Biggest "no no's" for gun safety is 1. Never point at somebody and 2. Never shoot up into the air (bullet could fall and delete somebody)
not could fall, but WILL fall
really though? Ive never used or seen guns in action before(guns are illegal over here). Can a falling bullet kill someone, even after losing momentum?
@@keshudana4647 it is possible. Depends on angle, velocity, etc. Apparently CDC studies showed that 80% of celebratory gunfire injuries are to head, shoulders and feet. The odds are unlikely, but it can still result in accidents like breaking glass windshield causing shock to driver resulting in collisions or stuff like that.
A falling bullet may not have as much momentum as when it was fired, but it still has plenty enough to kill on it’s way down.
@@keshudana4647 Yes, it can. The odds are very low of it hitting anyone, and not particularly high that such a random strike would be fatal, but it can and does occasionally happen. Since the bullet travels in an arc, unless it's shot almost precisely straight up there's really no point at which it's traveling with Only the momentum of gravity. It will still have some of the speed imparted by being fired. It can potentially penetrate the skull, especially if the round impacts on the face, but can also seriously injure or kill someone if it hits high on their torso and continues down through part of their torso. Or if they're extremely unlucky it may hit an artery.
There was an incident a few years ago in the US where very stupid celebratory gunfire on New Year's Eve or the 4th of July (I don't remember which now) killed a man by hitting him in the top of the shoulder and traveling down into his heart from there.
Firearms are a tool- a dangerous tool that should be handled only carefully and responsibly, but still just a tool. Like a vehicle, if operated safely they won't hurt innocent bystanders. If operated like the idiots in the clip, or in the incident I mentioned above, then people will eventually get hurt or killed. And if they are utterly misused, of course, the situation can be far worse.
Depends on the place, but if you threaten someone, even casually, while having a weapon even holstered (not brandished), it can still be considered assault.
Once again, depends on the place, but threatening to kill someone while having a gun on him.. Likely they could have pressed charges against that cop, not just a complaint.
Yikes.
That cop makes Dirty Harry look like Andy Griffith. LoL
Interesting tidbit about the crocodile with its mouth open. There are generally two conditions on which this occurs, the first is to release heat (much like a dog panting) and the second is actually due to its symbiotic relationship with a bird called a Plover. The plover will enter the crocodile’s mouth and feed on the food caught in between its teeth, and in return the crocodile now has a healthier mouth since that trapped food leads to infection. Im not sure what bird was in the video (obviously not a Plover) but it was likely attracted to food caught in the crocodile’s teeth and thus leading to its death. Crocodile just got lucky, tho if they could talk they’d prob say it was all planned /s. Sadly, cops are not legally obligated to "protect and serve" as is the motto of basically every police force in the US... Some cops were taken to court and the court found no reason for cops to follow their own motto.
Sue them for false advertising
serve and protect the law. not people.
They are there to "protect" property not humans.
Generally there is no situation so bad that it can't be made worse with the presence of cops.
They never say *who* they’re serving and protecting. It’s definitely not the common public.

3:00 From a reddit post - "The technique is called C.A.R. (Center Axis Relock), mainly used in close quarteres, it eases the recoil caused by the weapon, due to the holding position, and also doesn't make the weapon stick out as far as your holding it closer to your body. It's mostly used with pistols though."
There's no guarantee the guy is actually trained to use his weapon.
@@kidmosey Still helps with the recoil tho ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@GrouchierBear I'd guess that is the sort of thing you find out naturally as you fire the weapon
The stance is called the taliban shitter among other things. There is absolutely nothing tacticool about it nor does it have any fancy CQB roots. It serves absolutely no other purpose other than minimizing the parts of the body sticking up into danger by not having the magazine stick into the ground and not sticking your head up to use the sights. Thus allowing you to shoot in the general direction with completely inaccurate fire. Yeah, these fighters and gangsters are so cool holding their guns like complete fucking idiots wasting bullets and innocent lives.
@@victord4662 bro that is not even close to center axis relock that's literally just untrained 3rd world conscript spray and pray. that man had no clue what he's doing. it's on par with the captured soldiers in Rhodesia that had their sites adjusted to hit at 1000 meters because they thought it made the bullets more powerful
I discovered thisafter the whole Uvalde thing, and it's really depressing, but the cops job isn't to protect people... they are law enforcement, legally their only job is to enforce the law. a cop helps people not because they have to but because they choose to. that's also why in most hostage situations, school shootings, or basically in any situation the cops just barricade the place. their job is to catch the perpetrator, not to actually save the people in the situation. for their job, it makes no difference if the hostages get killed or not, it's just that the cops as people prefer them not to be killed... at least how I understood the law.
Yep
Their job is to intercept crimes when they see it occur but usually afterwards. Secondary job is to accrue revenue for the city/state via fines.
So I suppose the 'protect and serve ' moto is for nothing.
@@YuSooKey actually, no.. even if they directly witness a crime, they have no obligation to do anything, they can 'prioritize' other things and never do anything about it.. and a court order upholds that power of theirs
@@exxtm Depends on the interpretation of the motto. For example when I went through our local polices citizens academy I learned this about my city. Protect meant to catch criminals to keep community safe. And the serve part was carry over from then they would change light bulbs on houses of elderly. Now serve has just kind of morphed into another way of saying their definition of protect.

I mean I guess if you're going to do it , might as well have proof lol. Now the fact she made the video with that intention is beyond crazy.
I've tried a taser on my right calf once, painful, but not incredibly so, almost no pain after it's gone. Granted, it was a cheap device for civilian use, running on a single PP3 9V battery and it was only for a few seconds. I bet it hurts really bad if applied into a more sensitive area like the neck or groin, would neither attempt nor recommend this to anyone.
I really wanna know the sauce for that.

You're not always "aiming", you're just pressuring them to not shoot back, to scare them to give room for your mates to move closer and do you see the cartridges flying around like crazy? We dont know if some ally was beside him where the catridges were landing and if he is not taking aimed shots, then he can try to make the catridges fly away from the ally with turning the gun. They don't have 4x or even 16x like in PC shooters, its pretty hard to shoot someone with the iron sight hundreds metres / feet away.
Edit: Even if they were having a better scope, to actually aim with scopes like that takes time and sometimes you don't have the right situation / posture / cover to just go aim and shoot like out of the textbook.
idk man I’ve seen plenty of third world militaries shoot like they’ve never held a gun before.
Yeah, throw enough shit down range to "encourage" the nme to keep their heads down so that other team(s) can maneuver into better position to engage/disengage. Technique can also be used as area denial, like "we really don't want you to maneuver through that particular piece of terrain" to limit the nmes tactical options.

Always amazing content thanks so much love all of you
As soon as this was over. I went looking for the taser video.. and was pleased hahahaha
3:02 the one reason for holding the gun like that is if you have different sights on a side rail.
Those were tracer rounds Henery, when firing a high power rifle on full auto you need a way to see where you are hitting, so some rounds have a phosphorus coating which can react with the air and glow (actually burn) and allow you to see where the round is going
The tracer compound is in the back of the bullet, in the base. The usual type is that it gets ignited by the gunpowder that launches the bullet forward.
If the tracer compound was anywhere else on the bullet, the shooter would not see it or see it with great difficulty.
@@alaric_, Thank you for the clarification, I assumed phosphorus or possibly sodium coating, because they are reactive in water and possibly atmosphere under the right conditions. Never really knew how tracers rounds actually worked, thank you very much

Thanks for the reminder on the plushie. Can't wait for my stranger in the dark to arrive!
This was noticed by our soldiers during the Gulf War. Apparently in some Arabic countries it is a custom to fire weapons into the air in celebration (sort of how other cultures use applause). What nobody likes to talk about is that when the bullets reach apogee (highest point) this chunk of lead then obeys gravity and returns to earth at terminal velocity. The number of people killed by "happy fire" is appalling.
The thing is that a bullet at terminal velocity isn't going to kill someone unless there's some absolute miracle... What does kill people is when they fire more horizontally in a ballistic curve or just, into each other out of sheer stupidity...
Imagine you are just chilling and suddenly it starts to literally rain bullets.
Not to mention the number of people killed by those in the crowd who can’t handle the guns recoil and end up pointing it into the crowd
Well they aren't the most educated bunch or the most sophisticated or decent well you catch my drift
@@Aenonar Completely untrue. It has resulted in MANY deaths. The general speed of a bullet fired directly up in the air will fall at a speed of 150mph. This depends on the type of bullet though and some can reach speeds of 200mph when falling. a .30 calibre bullet can break the skin at just 85 mph. If it can break the skin then it can kill. If fired at an angle then it may not manage to reach a height to fall at terminal velocity and therefore will still be going at it's own force and therefore will arc and fall at an even faster speed than Terminal Velocity.
A study over a 1 year period found that 4;6% of all deaths by stray bullets were from this type of celebratory gunfire.

6:00 So, in Saudi Arabia, the only people allowed to have guns get it from government privileges.
So, this just shows giving the government authority to decide who does or doesn't have a gun, doesn't mean the people the government deems worthy of defending themselves are going to be responsible fire arm owners.
5:40 yes, that is basically fireworks. the bullets they are shooting are tracers so they get that effect. most cultures that have had a sort of warrior culture with modern firearms have this sort of thing as a celebration as opposed to fireworks, sort of like how not all cultures celebrate with fireworks.
this is how weddings are in some parts of Saudi Arabia, it's a festive thing

@@goeofieGoobyHEHE yup but it's just that, a creed, not a law. That's what makes it shitty since they don't have a legal/Constitutional duty to actually protect the citizens, their purpose is to enforce the law and its been proven in court that they can't be held liable for not protecting someone who isn't in custody. IE they can watch someone come up to you, threaten to hit you, do nothing until they hit you (at which point they'd probably arrest them for assault/battery), and they'd be fine since they're not responsible for your safety, just to arrest the lawbreaker.
