the wheels are 19x9.5 +22 btw, I accidentally said +25 a few times.
the tires are Nitto Neo gens 225/50ZR18

Does it rub? Might actually go with this fitment in the future for daily use
@@dalvinmembrere558 it does rub slightly but mostly just on the plastic liners so you could easily remove them/ trim them or just keep the height up a bit

Just a quick thing to share from years of messing with wheels...you might want to ALWAYS start the lug threading process by hand...not with the torque gun. Get it started by hand so you don't cross-thread and ruin your day. Ask me how I know.
Basically takes you an extra minute per wheels but you are 100% guaranteed not to f@ck up your wheel stud. Also, even with the aftermarket socket driver, wrap a few turns of painter's tape around it so you don't scratch the finish of your wheel inside the lug hole. Peace and love.

That’s awesome tho! And thank you! id say the rear mount is worth it if ur looking to make the car more raw and add some more feel to the car, its less comfy than the stock one so keep that in mind
@@ricevlogs_ No prob, yeah we live in the same vicinity so I'll be looking to you for advice for sure. I'm near Toronto so basically the same weather. I've been looking at replacing the fake rear exhaust tips since I got the car but will wait until my warranty goes. Only has about 22k km on it but it's a 2021, got it in August by luck because it rolled in from a one-year lease.
Hey hope you're good man. Wanted to let you know of a free mod thats gonna make a huge difference. You always talk about making your rolla a bit more responsive and intuitive. The clutch feel on these things is horrible and makes everything super jerky. I took out the clutch pedal helper spring and thing feels 1000x better. 1st to 2nd was always weird and jumpy, now everything feels super responsive and predictable.
The spring pushes your foot out all of a suden and doesn't let you feel the clutch. Doesn't feel heavy at all without it. Just wanted to share with you just in case. Nobodys talking about this on the corolla but its a really well known mod on platforms like the brz, 350/370z etc.

Dude sick wheels I’m just starting to mod the hatch and I’m looking into the kansei tandems I’m just having an issue where I’m not sure what lug nuts to use. I’m curious what you used for lugs thanks !

Looks so good! This has made me rethink the setup I was thinking of running. Do you get any crazy rub or anything? This is also my daily so want a clean look, but still keep it pretty practical. Did order a set of RS-R super downs.
Rubbing a little on plastic fender liners and a bit on the front fender brackets but nothing too bad!

Hey thanks man love the input! I know for sure wheels and suspension wouldn’t void warranty as for the intake and the throttle spacer if your considering it those may depend on your dealer every dealer is going to be a bit different but you could simply ask they will be able to help

Probably ho for something around a +35 offset for stock ride height

Thats sick! Id say the best offset yoy could do to save you from poking would be a +20 offset any closer to 0 you will need way more camber to not poke

I see what you mean about the difference in the rubber showing on the left side.. Before you noticed this, did you drive the car around a little to let everything settle? what about after the the alignment?
Small abnormalities like that drive me nuts, but overall.. It still looks great man.
Yes so i did drive it for a week now and its been better but i ended up adding a bit more camber to make up for it cause the alignment said the was slightly less on that side, seems much better now. And thank you!
How come you didn’t go with a 18x8.5 +35 I joined a group and that seems to be the sweet spot that’s what I plan on running as well just wanted your thoughts

Old wheels were way better. Stretched tyres are dumb and slower, tiny sidewall is dumb and slower on real roads, bigger rim is heavier and slower and dumb, white wheels look cheap and are also dumb.

Pi….what a “dumb” name….a great mathematical concept but not a great name. My son just bought an SE hatchback in white. He’s loving the 40mpg compared to to 13 he was getting on his Pro 4Runner with 285s. Congrats on your build and I enjoy your channel.
