      I came to the comment section to say “Blew my mind” maybe wasn’t the best choice of words, but you beat me to it. I laughed so hard when he said that...and then felt guilty for laughing so hard.

    I was a young child when the news of JFK's assassination came on the BBC radio. I was shocked to see my mum shed a tear & scared as I didn't understand. England mourned for all our American friends & for ourselves. How might the world be different if he had lived? Great film, Jacob. Mrs JM 😕

      John Meiris At least you got to see the premiere of Doctor Who that weekend. JFK was the last US President for whom the media completely “looked the other way”. The first JFK conspiracy film, “Executive Action”, which came out about ten years after the assassination, even had a scene where the fictional conspirators claimed they had no embarrassing information they could use to blackmail him. It wasn’t until later that the details of Kennedy’s philandering, the true state of his health and the meds he was on, and his father’s dealings with the Mafia were exposed. This is a point missed by conspiracy buffs: the fact that it would have been far simpler to maintain a live puppet than to create a martyr, especially if you consider the long list of mysterious deaths supposedly linked to the assassination.

      my aunt was very close friends to Jackie and friends with JFK. Jackie spent a lot of time at their vacation home while first lady and was over my aunts house a lot.
      JFK was a whistle blower and caused his murder by our government.
      if true... first time I heard of other Presidents using the same car he was murdered in... and to me is obvious why. do not whistle blow or else this is the consequence!!!
      I knew of a militant whistle blower and refused to follow exact orders. they sent him up in a plane along with other militants chained up the the planes walls and beaten to near death that they better stfu or else dead next time... and he said the plane just flew in a circle in sky.
      I rented from him for 1 month and I believe he was hiding... said put property in his brothers name. I had a bad incident with a neighbor and I called the police and he immediately fled in his car. I was like screw this.. so I rented a car to find an apt out of state where I had already considered.. got a place in 2 weeks... came back.. he was still gone!!! I had to alert police I was back because neighbors he also rented to got violent. by miracle I found a moving company to help me pack a uhaul. college was near by and all were booked.
      if you work for the gov you sold your soul exactly as to Satan. must follow orders even if its wrong to do. and don't tell anyone.
      years before when Bush announced war on afganastan on live TV .. about 2 hours later a couple active people in the navy walked the streets informing hundreds this war is to only steal oil... unlike what Bush told us. they were so pissed off they are about to be forced to murder innocent people
      President Kennedy is the last honest and decent one .. if not the only one America ever has had or will have.

    Being a marine during the same time as oswald: Oswald had qualified as a Sharpshooter, in Boot Camp. A Later qualification , he qualified as a Marksman. The minimum Score for Makrsman was 190, Sharpshooter 210, Expert 220. For instance at 500 yards, IcConsistantly fired a perfect score with the M1, 250. At standing I was always in the 190 range. The Fatak shot on Kennedy was a distance of 88.5 yrds. Any Marine could have made the shot! There are estimates of the time it would take; generally accepted is 4.5 to 5.5 seconds. The initial shot is locked and loaded prior to the approach to target area: A peice of cake. The carcano was considered a peice of junk by many due to the low cost. Actually it was a well designed, competant weapon. The surplus Italian ammo was variable in quality. The projectiles would often tumble. It was, I believe, one of these that made the head shot. There was but one assasin and his name was Oswald. Did others know it was going to happen? Absolutely!!!! However, I believe Oswald, couldn't have been convicted. The Secret service took charge of the body under the trhreat of machine guns. Autospsy was performed by Naval Doctors untrained in that discipline, it was done in Bethesda, Md.
    The chain of evidence had gaps 2,000 mile wide!

      Jim Key
      I’ve read and watched everything I can get my hands on about the Kennedy’s and the assassination. For argument sakes, let’s say Oswald was the/a gunman. He most certainly did not wake up that morning and decide he’d assassinate JFK that day. There were many people who wanted JFK out of the way, and many players involved in the assassination. You could say I have family that had personal dealings with someone of the players that were involved, including one that ended up murdered shortly after the JFK assassination.
      I honestly don’t know if Oswald would have been acquitted if he had made it to trial. People were much more trusting of the government back then. I didn’t think there was any way in hell OJ would have ever been found not guilty, so sometimes it’s really difficult to predict what jurors will do.

    • @jimkey920
      @jimkey920 Před 6 lety +2

      Idiot? What an amazing self analysis you have made. Also; an M1 is not a carcano. No shit! At 100 yards the results of a capable shooter using an M1 or a carcano, the impact point of the bullet would be indistingusihable. Digress for the moment: as stated above, the Surplus Italian ammo available at the time for the carcano was the type with the rounded nose. They would often tumble and even strike the target side firs. Such a round would account for the massive destruction of kennedy's head! What a juvenile, obnoxious ass you are. Grow a brain and come back in 10 years.

    • @jimkey920
      @jimkey920 Před 6 lety

      Jane. I appreciate your viewpoint. I had a marine Experience Parallel to Oswald. Including early marriage and children. oswald habsolutely had financial help from someone. there are very many questions about the assasination. you could start the inquiry with Oswald getting the job at the right place at the right time.

    Basically the car was stripped down to the chassis and there is really nothing original on it. Supposedly it was cheaper to do that than it was to buy a new one. The official stance of the govt was that they didn't have the money to buy a new one. Anyone that has restored cars or even just had major car repairs would know that it's not really possible to have that happen. I'm not a conspiracy theorist but the car think makes no sense at all. Even if you accept that it was the same car why would they keep using it for other Presidents so long? I don't know. The whole thing was crazy!
