Speaking for myself and probably many others, we enjoy the Hickok rambling.
Dear Hickok, I have watched many of your videos over the last several months. I just wanted you to know you're informative videos helped me to buy my first gun, a Gen 4 Glock 19, I am very happy with it, any way the point of this comment is that I wanted to say that you and your Son, along with sponsors are doing a great thing, and that I hope you will continue on doing what you do, knowing you have the support of many people like my self. Thank you for your time, effort, and thousands of rounds spent for our Viewing pleasure.
Dear Nick,
Thanks for the support. Lots of good pistols out there, but the G19 is still one of my very favorites; in fact, I think it's about to move the G23 off the throne of being my VERY favorite modern pistol. Of course, they are the same gun, just different calibers.
Still have my G27 Gen3, one of my fav carry guns!
That's some great shootin' I don't care who you are. I love all your Glock videos!!
They've been over there for about ten years; I just forget to shoot at them sometimes. Plus, 8" plates at 50 and 60 yards take some focus. I have to be in the mood.
"cant quit on a miss" Hhaha I hear that! I can't stand when I miss at the range and have no ammo left!
I really like them both.
Great video. Love the 40 S&W. Have carried a Glock 23 for several years. the 40 is a great compromise between the knockdown of a 45 and the high capacity-light recoil of a 9mm. Keep on shooting!
"God Bless America" is what goes through my mind when I watch your videos. Your 1st Glock 27 video was a contributing factor in my decision to purchase a G27. It's perfect for concealed carry, and I love it. Thanks for the effort you put into these great videos.
Yes, I have a couple, and that is on my list.
I use the Glock 27 for my carry piece. Great gun.
Thanks for taking us along! Always good to see your videos.
Mr. Hickok you are a legend my friend. Thanks for all the great Glock videos especially when you shoot as good as you...
This one is the Galco Summer Comfort.
Damn Hickok...You are surgical with that thing!
Fantastic shooting as always with the turn around and shoot drill to not sweep the camera, and still shoot well almost as impressive with the baby Glock as the long range shooting at the gong.
@david318iz , You are a lucky dog to have a girl friend who shoots a Glock 27! I hate to be anti social, but I'm just not set up to entertain the many folks who'd like to visit. Wish I could. I have lots of great folks I'm in contact with regularly about shooting and such.
I was thinking about getting a model 27 earlier this year. Seeing your video sealed the deal! It's now my favorite pistol. Completely stock too. Keep up the great work!
Well, if I never miss, people begin to expect it! :-)
I understand fully; those are all my favorite models. I like them all, almost equally.
I can't get a good look at it, but I think this video was before I started going IWB again with the Galco Summer Comfort. This might be one of my Galco pancake holsters. I like those, too. They are OWB.
hickok 45 you have the dream gun range hope to have a range like yours one day good job sir ....
Holy shit this guy is awesome, and not just the shooting but his personality
Hey Hickok! I purchased a Glock 27 gen4 today and you were on my mind the whole time!! Just wanted to let you know you influenced me into purchasing this beauty!! Keep on being the best shot out there!!
I have been a glock fan for a long time but you make the point very blunt. The Glock are a great gun, I have been in law enforcemnet for a long time and It just show how good this guns can do, I have a 23 for duty and I love it. Im going to get a 27 for back up and you just prove what they can do. Love the vids! keep it up!
Same one.
@green60 ,,
NOt sure, but I use a Galco Royal Guard
nowadays.
Mr. Hickok you are an awesome shot. Thanks for the great video's gotta love the Glock best pistol in my opinion on planet earth...
Gold Dot
Whatever 180 grain ammo I can find for the best price for range work. Lately it's been Blazer Brass or Federal, depending on Walmart's supply.
You're the man Hickok!
awesome !!!!!!
very great shooting !!!
I try to get hardened steel and make sure it's flat with no edges. No training courses. Just a long time gun nut. Thought about giving classes, but I'm not NRA certified.
Hickok45, you are the ultimate Glock salesman!!! Now, I know you're not endorsed by any way with Glock, but I must say, you should become a spokesman for them. Again your videos are an enjoyment to watch and they exceed expectations of shooting and information... After viewing your videos and consideraton, I have rented the G23 and G27 at a local range and found great pleasure and better target acquisition..My next pistols will be the Glock 23 and Glock 27.. Thank you.
add up one more who bought a G27 after watching your videos and hearing you rave about how great the Glock is.
great shooting sir!! nice weapon handling at the long distant shots!! keep it up hickok and keep the videos coming!!
Chalk up another Glock 27 owner. Thank you good sir for these videos.
Waiting on the new Glocks (2010) before I get the 27. The 26 is coming on Wed. Excellent work with the video..
Awesome shooting man, love my g27, thanks for the video Sir. Paul
I love this guy
hey man nice back yard..... im gonna convince my old lady about making our back yard look like yours one day... ha
I'm picking up my Glock 27 tomorrow. I can't wait.
@gibson1789 , I just buy Winchester or Federal 180 grain stuff, wherever I find it at the best price.
That's some great shootin' I dont care who you are! I love the Glock videos.
Thanks.
Actually, I can't tell any difference. I don't think I'm going to trim them in the future when I replace them. I can't believe I tried to trim them to fit perfectly. I didn't do that good a job on some of them, and it wasn't even necessary to do it. :-)
G 2 7
I just prefer heavy bullets. Probably doesn't make enough difference to think much about. Beging proficient with your firearm is way more important! I like 180 grain bullets for everything.
great video! great shooting!. you got me all fired up now i want to go shoot. 5 stars one handed shooting would be a good video. the water jugs were a nice touch and having a camera man is cool with the zoom in and we can see the impacts or the rare miss.
Amazing shooting. I am going to buy a 27. Good EDC possibility.
After watching a bunch of your videos and looking around for a while, I just bought a Glock 27 from the glock store.....I can't wait to get it. I have a glock 19 already and was looking for a subcompact and why not try a different caliber. I'm anxious =) Love your videos man. I ordered some grips for the glock 19 as well, can't wait to try it out.
I'll do one of those before too long.
Geez, you had to remind me of my brainlessness. One of the things I had planned to do in this video was shoot one-handed, both strong and weak. I'll do that when I do a G26 Part 2, or maybe I'll just do a video on shooting various guns one-handed, if that's something folks want to see.
Great shooting Hickok...Wa.State
love that lil gun I carry it everywhere...even my wife is starting to like it. she carries a 380 at the moment, I wouldn't be surprised if she asked to carry mine or buy her one sooner or later. oh yeah love your vids
Thats some great shootin, i dont care who you are!
Just bought my Gen 4 Glock 27 today!
Would love to see a training video on your shooting stance and style i.e. why you shoot the way you do and what works best for you. I have a similar stance and can hit almost anything but some people tell me you need to stand this way and do it that way but for me it isn't as comfortable or natural.
No, I wouldn't say the .40 caliber round has anything to do with it. The added recoil of the G27 might make it harder to shoot quite as well as the G26, not sure. I think my Glock 23 videos show pretty good accuracy. With me, it just depends on the day. Some days I'm on my game better than others, regardless of caliber.
you sir are my idol!!!!!!!
Guess I should be saving all the messages I get from folks saying they bought Glocks because of my videos and send them to Gaston. :-) Glock is in a very enviable position; their product is so good that they almost don't HAVE to advertise at all!
I put shoot n see targets on steel it works just fine.
I have some TEchniques videos in there somewhere.
About 45 years, I suppose.
Just watched the zombie video of yours love it! You going to make another one?
Even your neighbors are planking steel it sounds like
Okay, I'm buying it.
3:15 Ummm Good!
notttt someone i wanna piss off. and i think you just convinced me to go with the g27 over the g36. nice video, thanks
Thank you very much. Your videos were very helpful. I was just in the middle of making a decision in buying a concealed gun and it's between XD9802 and Glock 27. Because of your videos, hands down, I'm staying with Glock and this would be my third and a nice addition to my Glock 23 and 35.
By the way, do you reload? Also, KUDOS to your shooting skill and most of all to Glock.
You know what would be great, that you haven't done? Shoot the camera from the left side with the baby glocks! I think people get nervous when they don't use their pinky, but you don't use yours and your a damn good shot! Just got an M&P and next week i want the baby glock (.40). If you did a video from the other side i think that will help people who think the smaller glocks are unmanageable.
I never understand, although hickok45 has the greatest gun videos...he uses the term "bullets" instead of cartridges. I used to get my butt handed to me every time during my tactical courses when I'd slip and say bullets. :)
You answered your own question. :-) As the dogmatic guru of my own "tactical courses" (dangerous 2-liter hunting, pot smoking adventures, steel target Big Game Hunts, water barrel shoots, etc.), I choose not to worry so much about the precise terminology that the "tactical gods" have handed down on stone tablets. :-)
@@hickok45 I constantly refer your CZcams channel if my friends have any questions. You have the best. I always get tickled at the end when the slow motion laughing when you pop and explode the 2-liter bottles. Keep up the great work. I hope you will continue your sight even if you are shooting from a wheelchair. LOL
@gibson1789 it just takes a perfect grip for your hands and the gun and trigger control. try snap caps in the mag and film yourself shootin and see if you flinch a lot. be extra careful though when mixing snap caps and regular ammo for a test like this though.
another great Vid. JKW
I have been watching your videos for quite some time and put quite a bit of stock in your advice...more so now that I found out you're a teacher. I tried teaching - couldn't hang. Kudos to you for being a teacher, sir. I currently carry the comfortable, ridiculously accurate and reliable HK P30 .40 cal., however it is a bit bulky for warm weather conceal carry. Can you recommend a pocket pistol as reliable as my Hk (wheel or semi)? From what I'm finding, the Glocks are pretty close to them.
Hey y’all, what are some of your preferred ccw holsters for the Baby Glocks??
Thanks.
3:17 lol!!!
nice video hickok, what kinda' holster is that your using, I'm looking for one and that seems to be the ticket.
@saj12100 , Mostly Internet goofy stuff. If most people on the planet drove a Mercedes, you'd hear about more problems with them and wonder what the problem is with them.
Mostly bad handloads, although Glock has quietly increased the "reach" of the chamber on the .40s to give better case support. I've never had any problems and don't know anybody who has.
Just "subscribed and don;t know much about entering question, here it is .I need my computer glasses to shoot well by seeing the sights at 2' better then the target ,one eye shut .Is that the best I can do? because a bowling pin is kinda fuzzy at 25' out without the distance prescription.lots of folks must have this same problem .Any ideas for improvement ? or thats about it .With the distance prescription i shot much worse but saw the bowling pin quite well ,sights blurry .
a lot of ppl say the glock 27 kicks more than the glock 30. i think this is probably true with any 40 vs 45 situation because the 40 is loaded to a much higher pressure.
All those silly folk that claim the Glock 27 is a short range gun must only try to aim short distances, as Hickok45 shows, your fundamental marksmanship has much more to do with your "range" than the size of your gun... I don't care how big your gun is, if you do not have the Fundamental skills to shoot, you will still miss.
hey hickok what holster would be your first choice to conceal a 27?
I just paid for my new G27 now begins the dreaded 10 day wait!!!
yea buddy
hi my name is joe and i know you are into glock. but i was wondering if u could do a side by side compairason. to get a better idea what the diff is between the xd 45 and the glock 30.
167 rounds nice
Nice shooting!! How long have you been shooting for?
I watched this video a few times but I took it for granted that the holster you are using was outside the waist band, it's not. What holster were you using to make this video?
Do you shoot from your left eye? Appears that way but could not be sure.
Hickok,
What company made the holster you are wearing in the video?
If you can wait 10 days for a shipment, then you can wait 10 days for a firearm. I'm against the 10-day wait as well, but it ain't gonna do any harm (unless you don't pick up the gun after 30 days; then you have to go through the process again).
@UnknownTalentStudios ,
Sorry, I'd have to leave that up to your parents.
i wanna see that
Mr Hickok45 ... wow dude you can shoot. I have a ? i'm buying a glock real soon can't make up my mind between the 23 or 27 glock witch is ur favorite ?
Does your hand hurt?
Hey Hickok45 are you left eye dominant
I've decided if I ever get kidnapped and held hostage by Somali Pirates, I'm gonna request that you come after me. You make the Hollywood guys look like pansies, let alone everybody else hahahah!
@nickh552 What do you mean dreaded 10 day wait. Try getting a firearm legally in South Africa. You are doing very well if you can get the weapon after 6 months.
looks like you shoot a 26 better at a distance than you do with the 27. what is your opinion ; im just judging by the accuracy on the videos.
also he has to protect himself from potentialy crazy people
is this what you carry
