One of the best things Remender ever did as far as I am concerned. I loved the Craig Kyle and Chris Yost's work on X-Force but this is easily as good, if not better. Seriously, folks read this series. It's worth every penny.

I've got this pre-ordered. I didn't get the 2nd printing because it was re-printed the same time as Astonishing and went that route instead. I haven't read this since the singles were being released so looking forward to reading it again. Warren's transition at the end of the first AoA storyline confused me at the time, couldn't see how they got to point B from point A. Hopefully, it'll make sense to me this time around. Thanks again Omar for a wonderful overview!
The arc I liked the most was the war for the other world seeing Wolverine and Fantomex fighting Horoamce the goat demon and his army of demons, undead orcs, dragons but I would also have liked to see where the x force visited an alternate world. where the demon the beast and his army of demonic and undead ninjas conquered the world and a version of daredevil and elektra appear with their daughter with the resistance fighting against a world in chaos
This run is quite good, but I've never considered Reminder to be a truly great writer. This writing is decent (7/10), but what elevates this run is the artwork of Jerome Opena. It is absolutely beautiful and I will always buy Reminders work that has Openas artwork. The book starts off pretty good, but hits a snag when the arc involving Captain Britain starts. Fantomex steals the show of the omni.
Honestly, read New X-Men, Astonishing X-Men, then Uncanny X-Force. In a lot of ways, this is a sequel to Grant Morrison’s run and a reaction to Joss Whedon’s run. Then end with Hickman’s Powers/House (because it’s awesome). 😊
Im not a X-men reader and I mainly picked this up when it was coming out cause I was a Deadpool reader and felt confused in the run because of several appearances I had no context for 🤣. Great run though.
Yeah I think it’s because they had the wrong release date. It will pop up when it comes out. I had it on my wish list and was like wtf but it happens sometimes
Jeez this run has a lot of fans! For me I think Remender Uncanny Avengers is more solid overall, even with kind fumbled ending. But Dark Angel arc is best story in either run. I just think OVERALL this one nosedives after Dark Angel. Whoever talks about Otherworld section lol
After loving the Kyle/Yost run I was really excited to read this one. unfortunately its actually one of my most disappointing reads, I was falling asleep trying to get through it at certain points. I see they FINALLY removed the ~ on wolverines leg on the cover lol.

I will say even I thought this run was great so people don’t miss out on it if you haven’t got it.
