Do the sealing rings above and below the sink require silicone or are the fittings alone sufficient ?

Ive got one of these by crosswater, how do you connect it to a regular waste pipe??

Apologies if we have misread your question but it’s a 1 ¼” thread which then connects directly to a corresponding bottle trap. It’s the latter that then connects to your regular waste pipe. Hope that helps.
