    I had to get two new pieces for my v10 animal. I hope it’s as easy as you show it to be to put the see through plastic piece on the vacuum. I was having trouble with the old plastic piece that holds the stuff it has picked up for some reason it doesn’t work I may have to call. I also got a new filter. Thank you for helping me with my Dysons.

    The boing comes from the motor which is actively braked down by magnetic force from 100k RPM to zero in a fraction of a second, and does some overshoot vibrations around its end position. Yep, the Dyson digital motor is pure rocket science

    I week ago I bought this exact updated version! It’s great!
    But the question is if you have a small backlash at the place of attachment of the long tube and the vacuum cleaner itself? It is a bit shaky, not so firm. I’m upset about it, because I think in a year it will be too shaky…

    That plate to have it charged ... complicated as I'm not sure the overall purpose :) However, the dyson is charged by just plugging one end into dyson, the other end goes to the wall. Voila. I enjoy watching your video describing the instructions, other capabilities, etc.

    This "tab" issue I've heard others speak of, could this be the root of the problem when encountering "difficult to remove" panties that have stubbornly decided to not fall to the floor when being tugged upon.

    Hey, just wanted to ask.. I’m moving into a new place which has hard flooring as well as carpet. This would be my first ever Dyson purchase but they seem so pricey! I’ve used them before at friends house so I know they are worth the money. However I wanted to ask which one would you recommend the V10 absolute or the V8 absolute. We are planning to get a cat which I’m not sure which one would do the job better for fur.. and hair..

    • @lords-electrical
      @lords-electrical  Před rokem +1

      The V10 absolute has the runtime of 60 minutes and the V8 absolute 40 minutes on the minimum suction. Most people are going for the V10 now as the prices start to reduce.

    • @lords-electrical
      @lords-electrical  Před rokem

      It will depend on the suction setting you have it on. If you have it on the highest suction then yes that sounds about right. If its on the lowest suction level then it sounds like there may be a fault with it if its not lasting longer than 20 minutes.

    Which roller head would you use for carpet and hard floor.

    • @lords-electrical
      @lords-electrical  Před rokem

      The main floor head is used for carpets and the soft roller cleaner head would be used for hard floors mainly for larger particles.

    Received my new dyson v10 and I try to empty bin but the red button won't bagde, tried several times, my husband tried as well.

    • @lords-electrical
      @lords-electrical  Před 8 měsíci

      Annoyingly sometimes when the vacuum is new the bin can be really stiff to open. After a couple of opens then it should loosen up a lot.

  • @deger911
    @deger911 Před 7 měsíci

    I just bought one ,but how do you store the extra parts? They should have thought about that to keep them together in a mount box or anything else

    • @lords-electrical
      @lords-electrical  Před 7 měsíci

      Unfortunately that is one downside of some of the Dyson vacuums that the storage of tools is not really thought about and it is a case of keeping them in a separate bag or box.

  • @Account_CB
    @Account_CB Před rokem +1

    I have Dyson ball & this Dyson v10 the v10 battery just goes within 20mins on turbo & you have to keep your finger on the trigger which is tiring. You can purchase a trigger stopper but i think its like £15-30 for a piece of plastic 😒..you can't clean 2 rooms properly even with little dust...but it is comparatively powerful in line with the ball machine so that was a positive.
    Of course the peripherals for the v10 are expensive & the bin although a decent size..is Soooo flimsy that you can easily crack it.
    I also used a silicone clear sealant to secure the red inner ring in the head of the bin as it got loose & no way to secure it back in place.
    It worked...but let the sealant dry & of course apply it when the bin is washed & cleaned.
    The power is affected if the seals are loose 🙄
    Great for car & stairs BUT an expensive purchase given its kind of sold as a replacement for the plug in ball machines.
    Im fortunate i still have the ball...& overall not fully convinced by hand held models.

    I find all the different variations of Dysons models confusing. For example, V10, V10 animal, V10 absolute, then repeat for V10 cyclone. I get that models come with different tools but what I don't get is why dyson doesn't offer all models on their website or at least explain the differences. Now I see they offer updated main heads with machines, but unless you are aware of this you could end up with the wrong thing. Surely some reference to changes would help. Or is it just me who is going around in circles? 🤪

    • @lords-electrical
      @lords-electrical  Před rokem +1

      Trust me, even in the trade, we struggle to keep up with some of the models that Dyson offer so you are not wrong in getting confused. They are dropping the "Animal" name going forward as some people who have not got animals think they are buying a product that is designed for animals and wouldn't benefit from that vacuum.

    There is something you've missed, a rather important point for stupid people, like me. If you mount the wall bracket for the charger - make sure the cable is within reach of a plug socket!
