Roembke Mfg. & Design, Inc. (Ossian/Indiana, USA) provided the tools: salad tongues and a fruit bowl designed by Formfinder LLC (West Linn/Oregon, USA).
The solution we are showing is a quick mould change system using mechanical clamping system QMC by Staubli (Bayreuth, Germany, Duncan/South Carolina and Novi/Michigan, USA). The tools are transported on a MLV mould loading vehicle also by Staubli on which the tool can be smoothly moved on the shop floor, to the machine and into mounting position.
Mould identification with RFID guarantees that the machine controller is using the correct data set without additional changing of the machine settings and moulding program.
iQ weight control software is key to fast adjusting injection cycle parameters to variations in the material or production environment - shot by shot. This does not only help improve your part quality during production, but it will also significantly reduce the time to get the first good part after changing the mould.
The parts are taken out and positioned on a conveyor by an ENGEL viper 12 linear robot with quick change system and RFID identification of the end-of-arm-tool.

I should get a raise, my buddy and I can do this in 20min on a 500 ton milacron with SePro ratchet bolts and 4 pin threaded connectors. We also purge the tools via 1 in and 1 out on the manifolds to push through the tools in and out quick disconnects all while having to raise and lower with overhead crane that is slower than shit going up and down for "safety rEaSoNs" we also use mold protect :)

Very weird tool this one with the spoon and fork. Way too much water hoses. The change is easy with 85t machine, I want to see with 1000t.
