- It has been 1 to 2 months since I have used my backhoe. I thought I would be good to show how long it takes for a beginner to connect the 260B backhoe up.
Great video. re: getting things squared up "The Struggle is Real". I've found the "backhoe storage dolly" from bxpanded to be a complete game changer. It allows you to line up the backhoe to the tractor versus the tractor to the backhoe which eliminates the most frustrating part of the process. BTW I also have a 2022 2025R and I'm learning as I go..so I really relate to your videos :) Keep 'em coming!
Thanks for the encouragement :) Glad you found something to help with that. Does the bxpanded dolly only work on a concrete pad, or would the system also work on gravel?
@@kirbystractoradventures good question. I've only used it on concrete. The front wheels are roughly shopping cart size, so they wouldn't work on really deep/soft gravel or dirt but if it was relatively packed down it would probably be ok.
This why I'm so thankful to have indoor, on a cart, storage for my backhoe. Just roll the cart up to the tractor and connect the hoses. About 90 seconds.
That sounds like it makes it really easy!
Love my bxpanded bachoe cart. Makes hookup a breeze
That looks very interesting. Do you think it would work on gravel? How are the wheels on that bxpanded cart?
I just placed an order for my bxpanded cart the other day..now to wait the 6-8 weeks for delivery
Does the sub-frame reduce the clearance under the tractor? What size bucket do you have? Nice helpful video. I am considering getting a 260B.
I haven't notice it effecting the clearance. I can send you some pics if you like. Sorry for the late reply.
Great videos. Did you have the throttle up at all?
While I am connecting the back hoe I had the throttle at idle, (all the way down). Except when I was backing up to it. When I turned to look back over my left shoulder, my knee hit the leaver and increase the throttle on me ;)
Fig. Three
That’s not the receiver, that’s ball mount you removed. The receiver is the part of the hitch the ball mount goes into.
My bad ;)
