- I really dig this set, groovy as fuug with dark and light tones - makes me remember the subtle sasha n digweed, but that breaks through in the set, into the delta heavy..and i leave you at that :) ..enjoy
Just a set I downloaded - If anyone has tracklistings coment them and I'll try and get around to putting them in the description. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
My wife and I met at this show! 19 years together and going strong. Still love listening to this set.
That's cool mate
Good story 🤙 The music Sasha used to producer in this era was so elegant and romantic.
Honestly all these old sets sound way better then anything they've done in the last 10 years.
True, specially Sasha, but thank God we have Cattaneo which improves with every set he plays!!
IT was way better in the 90's and early 00's 4sure
not anymore
These old 99-2008 sets are ALL legendary! Progressive Tribal House NOW is harder to find and see live now a Days! If their was 3 main shows like this steadily on Tour, it would make a Time Machine comeback for more stronger than Ever!
I was at this show, it was amazing. They had a row of about a dozen 6 foot tall cabinets at the back of the dancefloor with all giant woofers, but cleaner than any system I'd heard up to that point. Standing beside it, when the bass hit, my hair moved sideways. It was one of the loudest parties I've ever been to, but the sound was clean-loud, like a rock concert, not just cranked up loud.
Phazon sound system
I was there there also i remember watching people touch there chest because there was a bass sound vibrating peoples hearts.
Eli Bishop yes they brought their own sound equipment for the tour... it was fucking amazing!
Cool, so what did you lose first your hearing or your mind !!!!
Benjamin Brown I left the ATL show with everything in tact. Barely lol
And yes. Long live the days of Buzz/Nation
That place was my home every Friday for years.
I remember this show, and I miss those days very much!! Thank you Buzz and Scott Henry for great memories
Yes Scott Henry buzz 95-98 was epic for me!!!

Emerald original mix
Thomas Alexander thanks!
Thomas Alexander so they never played any of their own stuff at the delta heavy tour?
The track right before Janeiro is Main Element- Take Me Down
Sasha and digweed go together like peanut butter and jelly, everything is gold
I used to be a HUGE Sasha & Digweed junkie! I live in NYC so when they had their residency at Twilo (the last Friday of every month) I was there 10/11 out of 12 months! When they came back to town for the Delta Heavy tour I went...shitty club (The World) but the party was epic! Produced and promoted by Jimmy Van M, they hired the guy that dud the opening credits for the movie "7even" to work the giant video screen behind then and that was one of the most amazing displays i've ever witnessed!
i was there for this set at buzz and many others... good times and many fond memories... can't believe its been soooo long since those days!
It’s 2020, the year of the COVID-19 pandemic and I’m still hear to listen to these massive tunes!!
You mean PLANdemic,...
Buzz@Nation gooood times!!
So great to have both this set and the Miami mix on CZcams, awesome 👌
Man i remember this show like it was yesterday- Digweed was always my favorite DJ- I had been living in DC for a couple years, going to Buzz@Nation for about that long, and this was one of the most memorable nights there. Digweed closed with a remix of Deepsky's Stargazer(not on here)-the original is still probably my favorite track- used on his Global Underground: Sydney Album- I still have Disc 2 of this set on CD from the Buzz office- I let a friend borrow disc 1- thanks so much for posting!!
I was there... this bring back memories my goodness
Wow thanks for posting this. I was at this party many moons ago. I miss Nation :-)
I went to the Delta Heavy show they played in Dallas. It was pretty amazing and topped only by Sasha's 4 hour set he played a few months prior in Dallas.
tjmackey432 I was at the Dallas show too in 2002
got to see so many good djs at buzz miss that place
You're right, the set/night was epic, made my way from Philadelphia for the show and to visit friends, unforgettable. I have a Buzz t-shirt. I will break it out this Friday for work in homage. 2006, I was fortunate enough to see another set by Sasha and Digweed at virgin fest in B-more, not ideal, but still wicked good. Tangalia opened for them, Sander van Dorn followed.
What a fantastic trippy night there. So glad they came through DC.
tjmackey432 just read your comments. you and Damon Burnette have me feeling really nostalgic. prospect was completely insane! that lineup was all-star; from the headliners to local talent. i was relatively young and just getting into the scene; i had no clue at the time how many legends were on that ticket. todd terry, binary finary, uberzone, kimball collins, joey beltram, tidy boys, everyone else! google is failin me on a full lineup right now, but i know i have that flyer stuck in a high school yearbook somewhere. i do enjoy the few good clubs here and how personal, intimate they feel, but i sincerely miss those over-the-top, massive parties we used to get in TX.
awesome!! thank you so much!
i was there too hot show. the last night if i remember... dara and ak200 aka planet of the drums was there the night before BIG UP THE OLD BUZZ CREW!!!
One of my favourite gigs of everytime...
I feel ya chance4pres . I moved to Dallas from DC in 2000/2001. The scene in Dallas was so intense when I got here. I went to that Delta Heavy show at the bronco bowl. Insanity!!! It's not what it used to be. Not sure it'll ever be that way because so many new kids are more into these big edm festivals. But thankfully we have great house music at It'll Do which is like having a warehouse party every weekend. And the dnb scene has always been kicking ass here.
+mujer nica Chocolate City!!! Please tell me you saw Deep Dish as often as possible?!? Spot-on summary of the current state of Dallas' scene. It'll do has been huge, not only for Dallas as a whole, but also helping to bring Deep Ellum back into the fold [along with countless other businesses/attractions] as a place you can go w/o having to worry about whether or not you'll be stabbed. I really wish that one or several of our locals could blow up, become more renowned. There is quite a bit of talent that has not only paid their dues, but are also extremely talented: Red Eye, Sno White, Raydar & Shaolin, etc. I'm not sure whatever happened to Kid Icarus, but I always imagined he was the guy that was gonna break through; put Dallas DJs on the map so to speak. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Oh well. Rock on.
chance4pres Yep we did see Deep Dish quite often. I seem to recall seeing them in Music Now which was the record store in Georgetown. Well I can tell you that Jeremy (Kid Icarus) is still throwing his big Full Access events with Disco Donnie. But he's been the one bringing in so much talent to It'll Do! He brought Danny Tenaglia, Markus Schulz, Nicole Moudaber just to name a few. He had some health issues a few years back so that could be why he didn't keep with his DJ career. I think he still does makes music though. He's on FB. I couldn't agree more about RedEye! That man is so incredibly good HE SHOULD be on an international scale. How is MaryJane? I remember meeting her when she was still in high school. And I always used to be able to count on Raydar and Shaolin to play some nasty breaks at the LL...last time I was there though they werent playing breaks though. I was kinda disappointed.
Oh wow, that brings back some memories. I was hanging out with Wes from TechSun Records when Digweed went on that night. Both of our jaws dropped when he mixed in. It's been so long I don't even remember what track, but the energy was through the roof.
I got out of the scene shortly afterward, but kept my love of House. Kid Icarus and RedEye are names I haven't heard in years. I need to look and see if they are still active in Dallas. I'm getting too old to be running around eating pills like PacMan, but hearing some solid music by experienced DJs would be a treat.
Ahhh... Delta Heavy!!! I was at their Denver show, which was my first time attending a show like this. So, you could say that for me, Delta Heavy was a life-changing event.
gje73 I joined you in Denver and also earlier that year in Colorado springs. Both shows were top notch and crazy nights.
Great set
Sasha wonderful production brother making it work you my number one hero bro looking forward to seeing you soon at work Joey the gentleman Iowa California and USA
Love You2💯💞
No way! Is this really the set from Buzz? Damn I never thought I would hear this again. What an epic night. Thanks for posting this!
At 52:00, the track everyone is speaking about it. I have it, some where in my crates. It would take literally over 8 hours to find out. It sounds like something from Decipher Records; early Steve Porter; or Vapour Recordings. Either way, thanks for posting this.
Then look for it!
1czelaya ya, i'm with ivan. dig that shit out! that track and the one before is when this set really caught my attention. now i've listened to it several times and worn google out looking for a tracklist.
Want to sell some vinyl buddy
21:00,1:28:25 and 1:47:00 was tight. The rest of this album was okay but I can appreciate this considering Trance is not what it used to be. Thanks for posting this up...
I was at the dallas event with about 15 people, epic to say the least, the ole bronco bowl, the best venue ever!
@ 1:47:00 Bedrock- Emerald I love this track....I remember when he dropped this it was so loud! Sucks you cant hear the crowd a little in the mix but thanks for posting!
Proper tribal stuff! Love it :)
This was back when the top DJs were spinning vinyl and actually mixing, before the laptops and computer programs fucked everything up. Now all the new technology allows a bunch of sham DJs to just push play and then jump around like idiots occasionally touching nobs pretending that they are doing something onstage.
I agree with you. It's about getting the crowd at the moment for most now. Then after a decade, they look back and see how childish they were. Sasha & Digweed, Carl Cox, Paul van Dyk, etc. These guys are legends! Music from 1998-2004 are the most memorable for me.
Technology allows DJs to do more with the music. If you think it is all pushing play then you obviously don't know much about the subject. Vinyl only impresses people like you, people who don't understand.
Rubbish .... I grew up with vinyl from 95 onwards. I finally sold my techs in 2010 and I regretted it. Ive tried all kinds of digital equipment all the way upto Cdj's and nothing touches playing with vinyl. Hence its all been sold. Most mp3j's now just sync and then pretend to dick about with the pots on the mixer and endlessly dick about with pontless effects. The art has gone now. Give kids a pair of decks and they would give up in 30 minutes because they have no sync button. Give some of todays 'top' mp3j's a set of decks and they would be all over the place because without bpm counters, sync and endless shitty effects to make them sound good they really are nothing special. Add to that the music is so shit these days .... no real genre's just the same plodding beat. I miss the days of true prog house and I bet Sasha and Digweed do as well. All that said I am looking forward to seeing them in manchester in december.
Amiga1200Mark just saw Sasha and Digweed in DC they use digital gear. I grew up in the nighties as well and was a part of the DC Baltimore underground scene and used vinyl. I now use all digital and life couldn't be better. Just because you can't use digital gear don't assume nobody else can. Most DJs I know don't use sync and beat match the same as vinyl. Sounds like you are stuck in the past. Maybe try not to complain so much and say things used to be better. It just makes you sound old.
And of course you need a nice pair of ears and skills to spin vinyl
remember that... And of course it's also very impressive
Me too, great night this was...
so good, so good @ 60 mins. huhuhuhuhuhuuhuhuhuhuh
Thanks and VIVA LA GP!!!
Great production
When are you coming home 🏡🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥😀😭🙏👍🙏👍🙏👍🙏👍🎉👍👍🙏
TO USA HOLLYWOOD CA
I remember when Buzz first started at West Side Club in 1993. Befo' you was even born, son!
Yeah, the bronco bowl was my favorite as well. I think my favorite party they ever had their was At the Corner of Prospect and Something Else. I remember seeing Kimball Collins playing on the bowling lanes and Tidy Boys in one of the side rooms. The rest of the night is sort of a blur....but I know I had a great time ;)

Mike Sanchez, any chance you have any of Sasha's solo sets from Nation, Washington DC around the same time frame? It was one to remember..as many were.
I've heard about some legendary nights at Nation, I guess that was one of those. I wish I have been there at least once...
I saw Sandra Collins and John Graham there back in the day, it was pretty epic. It was so damn big, so many rooms.
Charles Pulman Wow!
Definitely sounds like an epic night, I don't think Sandra has been in DC in a while.
In the little 'imperfections' of this mix we can see how artisan dj mixing used to be.

Damon Burnette i was at that show, and a shitload more at the bronco bowl. loved that place! you probably actually could've gotten away with murder there. once you got through the doors it was just all depravity & debauchery with the best music i had ever heard. dallas' scene sucks now. handful of decent clubs, but they all overcharge for everything; cut the house lights on at 1:59.
anybody knows the track at 1:08:00???
i miss BUZZ!
wats the song on 1:12?
and the first track is
Salome & Ives - Mystica Roya (Ives' Tamas Dub) amazing traccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

How were they mixin - one hour each , or few records each?
it seems that for this particular gig it was first digweed and then sasha. but if you were lucky enough to catch them up in GOD MODE they will mix into each other and the magic started to happen... i saw them in coachella in 2008 BACK 2 BACK.....best party i`ve ever been to. bass loud as fuck.
Back to back on this one.
Miss the happy people
Then you start IT,...be the happy people you are looking for only then They Will come around you automatically🤩 and i have a german shepperd 8 months Young✌️
