a video where I compare almost all versions of Spider-Man 2000, PS1, N64, PC/DC and both PS1 Beta's. comment and like if I should do more of these comparison videos :)
Yes. I just wish it didnt have certain glitches. Mine has the problem where during the venom chase, spidey tries to run up the wall and it almost always makes me lose. Besides that tho, ps1 is amazing
@@thehr99 that's not really hardware power, more like storage size, the PS1 used CD ROM technology, the N64 used Cartridges. PC also used CD ROM technology in 2001 (The Windows version released in 2001, Mac OS version released in 2002)
I own it on on Dreamcast and used to own it on PlayStation. The Dreamcast version is a big improvement visually and fixes a few bugs, it also has different voice clips in a few places which I prefer. Venoms laugh for example is much more sinister and creepy on Dreamcast version whereas the PS1 version uses a more comedic laugh.
That's interesting, I do prefer the small differences in the Dreamcast version never the less, with the exception of the music on the train fight level which seems incomplete and loops a lot more.
Let's all take a moment to realize how amazing the PS1 was and what it could do! It only had 2MB RAM and 1MB video RAM so excuse me if I am impressed...
It's because it was seen as a lazy port for Dreamcast, which didn't even try to take advantage of the system's power. After playing Crazy Taxi and Headhunter, it's difficult to pretend the Dreamcast couldn't render the streets below the skyscrapers.
If any of ye lot asked for and/or were informed about recommendations on which port gives the best Spiderman ('00) experience, I'd say from what i've seen from this video and many more it comes down to most likely the Sony Playstation One, PC and Sega Dreamcast port of this spidey gaming title. ^w^ :3
I own Spider-Man (2000) both on n64 and Dreamcast. The only thing I like about n64 on Spider-Man is the control. It plays better with the n64 controller because it doesn't feel awkward to move around unlike Dreamcast. I like Spider-Man in Dreamcast almost anything but the control. Overall, Spider-Man is a fun game to play regardless what consoles you play.
The PSX version has its own charm, even if it lacks the most when it comes to graphics.
I mean, those freeze frames at end of sequences are better than PC ones

The fact alone that the PS1 version has the different voiceovers when selecting "Kid Mode" makes it the superior version
The PC and DC versions also had that stuff.
@@Ragninsky Thwy mean for it's time. PC hardware obviously could do that and the PS1 has less power.
I agree. Best version.

0:48 When ur having a mental breakdown
lmao.
I think, the PC is the best.
same
i find pc a tad better, though the psx version was the original and was an amazing game at its time
PC version has many lags in game.
That's not true, it ran at higher framerate than the PSX version.
Pc one have better textures, but have too many glitches
Black cat tells everything.
Nice comparison man, im glad ur still making content on this game :]
R.I.P Stan Lee
PC and Dreamcast are the best looking versions
Wow Dreamcast was amazing. Feels like a re-make when compared to the other consoles.
Dreamcast was bassicaly ps2/gamecube gen console tho.
@@guidorussoheck2100
Hell, it had some advantages over the PS2. Just look at the shaders and textures in MDK2 vs. the PS2 "upgrade".
Thanks finally someone made a true video İ was waiting for this
I grew up playing the Dreamcast version ...and didn't realize it had the better graphics at the time lol

Fishkeeper63 any changes from the ps1 to Dreamcast port were unintentional as it uses ps1 beta assets which explains all the slight changes

PS1 will always be in my heart.
black cat had my 12 yr old self feeling things i never felt before bro
Would love a full comparison review.
Black Cat looks blue on any version except PC, same for Venom from what I remember. On PC they can sort of pass for black.
they had no business giving black cat that much cake on PC
Let's all take a moment to realize how amazing the PS1 was and what it could do! It only had 2MB RAM and 1MB video RAM so excuse me if I am impressed...
Holy shit thats fucking Amazing
The PS one was like a super Nintendo on steroids
Dreamcast had best grafics but everyone remember ps1

They could sell this PC version on PS4/PS5 as "remastered". I would buy it day 1.
If any of ye lot asked for and/or were informed about recommendations on which port gives the best Spiderman ('00) experience, I'd say from what i've seen from this video and many more it comes down to most likely the Sony Playstation One, PC and Sega Dreamcast port of this spidey gaming title. ^w^ :3
1:37 That blue filter is missing in the DC and PC version, so for that i'm sticking on PS1 version as it is the original version it was designed for.
Well it make sense PS1 is by Sony have the rights for Spider Man in 1999 I think.
1:00 the tower was completely gone in the N64 version lol
I own Spider-Man (2000) both on n64 and Dreamcast. The only thing I like about n64 on Spider-Man is the control. Dreamcast was the more powerful console, so it could create the better graphics.
is there a PSX remaster with DC's textures?
MY EARS MY EAAAARS!!!!
pc version has smooth graphics and better shades
but very buggy
i have been end ps1 version not pc so i don't know about bugs
And the only version where Black Cat has her mask on.
Nico Yazawa It was built at a time where all computers had a frame rate of 30fps it doesn't glitch if you lock your frame rate
PC and dreamcast port are the same
Whichever port is your take, I respet, for me is for the Nintendo 64 version because I grew up with it.
PC looked good with masked black cat felicia.
mr hat man how do i download this game i dont haave it on my new pc
1:08 is that is that is that the bank ahead?
yo lo jugue en pc la primera vez, luego lo jugue en ps1, de los primeros juegos que me di vuelta y miles de veces jaja

Bank, bank, bank, bank... hostages got hostages got hostages got hostages... *thanks!*

Dreamcast and PC had the best graphics
They should remaster it and put it on Xbox and ps
Black cat has no mask
How they were saying then - "Consoles have better graphic then PC" Yeah, I can see that...
Ngl I like the N64 version just my opinion.
Dreamcast best in my opinion

The PS1 is the best-looking.
Ps1 the best game of spiderman ever
Resolution/Graphics : PS1 >> N64 >> DC/PC
Sound : N64 >> PS1 >> DC/PC
The Dreamcast and PC version are the supreme.
Had no idea PS1 was such trash. Too bad I didn’t care as a kid. I still don’t.
For that time it was good
Pc version dont even look old compared to ps1 and nintendo
Me: Wow.. The PC Is One Of My Favorite!
Brain: *WHY YOU GUYS DONT CARE ABOUT THE N64 ONE*
Where is the dreamcast version
Israel Coto 3:16 Dreamcast is kinda the same with PC,but with minor diffirences
Sate Gera and minor doo doo stains in the toilet
The lighting is fucked on Dreamcast which is disappointing considering it has the highest resolution assets.
spideman 4 times
I don't remember this game on N64.
PC is by far the best in all aspects, not just visually.
You are wrong and you know it :)
THEYRE SCREWING WITH US
el de pc dc
Pc is best
You forgot the dreamcast.
The Hentai Aficionado Dream Cast is the same as the PC version.
pc master race
Pc looks better but Playstation has better lighting. I wonder if there's a mod on the pc version to make it like the Playstation lighting. 🤔
Eh, not exactly. The DC Version has a more realistic lighting system going. You can definitely tell during the train level.
Ps1 and Dreamcast has better hi res graphics
I disagree, the best looking one is the ps1 beta version honestly
PS1 is the best
i think ps 1 is win
