Imagine thinking that losing earlier in the playoffs is better than losing later. Unless you are bill Russell, you have a losing record in the finals. Point being most people don't make it that far, that often to begin with. Criticizing someone who did as a knock against them makes no sense.
2011 is the only series I put solely on lebron for no showing. That mavs team is seriously underrated. They rolled kobe going for a 3 peat with his dominant front court. They walked westbrook, kd and harden too but i digress.
Bron is trying to get whistles when he flops and his haters call him soft.
He finishes so strong at the rim that he got that shaq treatment and refs swallow their whistles. Its not that hard to understand but it is hilarious tbh. Shit, Dennis rodman was as rugged and competitive as they come as he would flop his ass off to draw offensive fouls. The commentators would be disgusted when he got those whistles but he did get those calls.. He did it for a reason and it often worked. Noone would call rodmsn soft but they call brons big, strong ass soft trying to get some free throws, go figure.
Lebron is a top 3 dunker, passer, scorer. He might have the all time highest BBIQ and he's for sure the most effective transition player (two way) of all time. He can rebound better than 95% of fowards, guard any position, reads the passing lanes like a free safety and has been All NBA elite since he was 20. And on top of being one of the best paint scorers and finishers ever, he's developed a clutch fadeaway, strong post moves and a reliable and deep 3 point shot. No one will ever be a total package more than Lebron.
Bron won championships playing pg, sf and pf. Led the league in assists at pg and won a title. Hes known as the greatest or at least the 2nd greatest sf ever behind bird and his most dominant seasons were arguably at power forward. That is extreme versatility at the highest of levels.
Top 5 in mvp voting 14 times the last of which was in year 17 or 18. Inconsistency due to injuries and mental fatigue seem to play a part the last year or 2. His body language seems like he's over it half the time anymore.
It took a looong time for father time/ injuries to start piling up. His quickness is gone now and he's much slower overall. He gets singled out and smoked in isolation when that wouldn't be a thought in his prime. He was quick enough to guard rose and strong and smart enough to guard 4's in the paint.
Theres nothing on the court that he couldn't do and he was as smart as anyone to ever play. Respect

The LeBron we have now may not be as athletic or have the kind of vertical some of the clips here show, but he's the best version. With that said, the league lucky he became this version when he was past 30. If he was like this at 25, dunno how many superteams would've been built to try and stop him from rising to the top.
