- Monmouth County - Manasquan - Manasquan Inlet - Water & Jetty Rescue.
Around 1:48 PM Manasquan Police received a call for a swimmer in distress inside the Manasquan Inlet. Upon arrival of FD & PD one was in the water at the start of the jetty just over the rails. He reportedly had a medical episode and fell into the inlet. Marine 27 arrived on scene and got one out of the water onto the bottom of the rocks, he had face lacerations and hyperthermia. USCG was only on scene in their small boat 29ft. South Wall Technical Rescue was requested to help with the hoist out of the jetty rocks. They successfully packaged the patient and hoisted him up the rocks to Belmar EMS and was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center. No further updates.

That's scary, hope the person will be ok
Good job, everybody.
Thank God the inlet was calmer than normal.
Poor guy. I hope he had a beach badge…
Always good to take a warm afternoon dip.
Great Video, this incident will be all over youtube.
What`s the point of blocking the whole street and using so many resources???
Awesome video. Hope the guy is ok...🤗🤗
Looked like an elderly man. Id say he's lucky to be alive thanks to fire rescue.
One of my favorite places to be.
What drone are you using ?
How much did your drone cost? I've been thinking of investing in one. Oh, and what kind is it? Great footage.
How did this man end up in water? He should pay for his rescue, not innocent taxpayers! Hope hes OK.
Oh, such compassion!
It's not the best weather for swimming .
People are unbelievable sometimes. How does one even get themselves into such a situation to need rescue? A person not physically fit and/or not well should not even be out there. I hope the man recovered but learned a lesson too!
You seem to have an issue with first responders in almost every video you post. You should know being from the Bay Head/ Mantoloking area that the beaches in Point Pleasant Beach are not public. They are privately owned by Jenkinson's . Therefore legally you were trespassing. So you are again wrong just like you are in many of your videos. You have a bad attitude for some reason. Know what you are talking about before putting wrong information there.
excuse me?, Bayhead beach are fully public, the beach is owned in Point Pleasant only at Jenks, hight tide water mark is also public access. Private beaches cannot block access to public beach/ocean. Jenks has been sued for the exact thing.. in this video im in a public area and nobody said a word to me. Think you get to check your facts before commenting. Learn about the local laws!
im also a member of the press so I have access to places maybe someone like yourself cannot. thanks for the input but im doing just fine.
