2012 NASCAR Qualifying Laps (Part 2)

Here's Part 2 of a video full of various qualifying runs and poles from the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Season that I've put together from all the tracks in the schedule for 2012 with the Gen 5 car. Managed to get lots in HD so enjoy the first of many qualifying videos on my channel. Part 3 will be coming out very soon.

I miss the sounds of the engines from 2012-14 they sounded so strong before they started reducing HP

@Lil Switch Yeah as soon as they reduced down to 725 it didn’t sound as good but especially now with just 550 at intermediates it’s not nearly as good as it was

Logan baker now on most mile and half’s they’re running about 8600-8700 rpm MAX in the draft and I think the tapered spacer plays a part in engine noise by covering the airflow

I used to remember drivers cut the tri-oval at Talladega and Daytona in 2009 or 2010.

it's so weird hearing Mike Joy commentate during the championship weekend at 3:30. Does anyone know why they would broadcast qualifying on different networks back then?

They weren't the best looking car, but they races well. I have never liked the Gen 6

Gen 6 was better before they added the more drag and huge spoiler they use on superspeedway
