Thats the first ford you have reviewed in a while now. Keep up the great work 👍
Really appreciate you doing this review. There are so few out there for conversion vans. I like the look of the Transit/Explorer conversion, but was surprised by some things that felt kind of cheap. When closing the doors, you can tell there's no sound deadening in them, as they make that cheap cargo van tin-metal sound. And there seems to be a lot of engine and wind noise, more than the Savannah series conversions. A shame, really. Had Explorer spent $500 on Dynamat, it would have probably drastically changed both of those things and made people "feel" like it was more luxurious. Beautiful to look at is one thing, but for this kind of money it should sound and ride like a limo.
Beautiful van!
This is my favorite van! Awesome job bro.
Thank you for the review, I just bought a 2021 Transit just like this but silver metallic and the longer wheel base "148" rides like a dream Explorer does a great job! AWD and The Eco boost are Great too!
It's been a few months since you bought yours. What are your thoughts now? Still like it? Did you compare the Transit to the GMC Savannah models prior to purchase? What drawbacks have you found, if any?
That van is awesome. And a tow package. Nice
Not much towing power
Great review
Great review.
Nice Van.
You can change speedo and the steering wheel from Ford Explorer to have digital speedo and steering wheel with paddle shifters! Nice tune and you have 450HP real sleeper-inn.
3.5 TT with a 10 speed, niceeeeeee
That folding sleeper doesn't go flat, which is bad. Another problem is the Transit 150 has a pretty low towing capacity - typically less than 5,000. This makes it hard to move a good sized boat or trailer with this vehicle. Even the Explorer SUV can do more. And at the price, you're well into higher trim explorer territory. Yeah, depends on what you're after, but mostly I don't see this as a successful conversion.
I’d take out all the seats but the two front seats.
Agree
Thank you for another thorough and complete review. Of all the Explorer conversion vans, which did you like the best? Price is going to be a major factor for me. How much will this Transit set me back?
I like the maneuverability of the Transit better, but the Express/Savana just seems more luxurious to me. If you go to conversionvanland.com, they have the current price for both. Just based on preference really. Prepare to spend between $60-$70K with my sponsors at Conversion Van Land or more at other stores.

I'm looking at the bucket seat on the right side of the second row where the sliding door is, and while all other seats around the van each have cupholders, that one right there doesn't have any at all. So what would you expect someone who sits there to do, keep holding his/her beverages in both hands for more hours than he/she can tolerate? I wouldn't if it was me. I have autism if you were wondering, but at least I can drive like those without autism. Still, trust me, my parents had a 1995 Ford Windstar in my childhood, and the sliding door setup in the video is like my family's van from my childhood, my brother was, and still is, older than me, and his seat was by the solid wall and mine was by the sliding door, and he had a cupholder and I didn't, he, my mom, and my dad each were able to relax with their beverages in their slots, but I had no choice but to keep gripping my pop cans in my hands for more hours than I could put up with, and it was a very bad, difficult, and unreasonable challenge I shouldn't have had to go through, and it wasn't fair for me to live with it in such an uncomfortable and inconvenient fashion like so, that means those who sit by the sliding door in that van would have to go through what I went through as described. Look at the sliding door from the inside of that van in that video above and you'll see what I mean.
👍👍👍👍👍
You didn't mention the between the seats cooling box under the 2 cup holders. I don't quite have 5,000 miles on mine yet. Or that you can get them longer. Also, does this one self-park?
I can’t remember. 🤷🏾♂️
Love it! How was the Adaptive Cruise Control? Does it handle “stop and go” traffic?
I didn’t really get to test it that much, but I really like Fords adaptive cruise, so I’d say it’s similar to other Ford’s.
@@NothinButCarReviews awesome!! Keep up the great work!! We love these vans and your reviews!
These Transit vans are best of all new vans. Avail AWD! Most engine options! Ecoboost engine is incredible.
Nice review! How much can you tow with this?
I’m guessing 4-6k pounds maybe? 😬
Cut the TV on?
Very nice.., any idea how much is the current running price of these particular model? Thanks for sharing.
$70-$80k I think
@@NothinButCarReviews Thanks for the info, cheers!
Once the E Series ended serial production, the Transit Vans took their place. I though the first ones were stiil arriving from factory.
Been out for yrs! Best selling. Best built vans. AWD available. Ecoboost engine available. We love ours!
@@Davido50 You are clear, friend. Transit is the curent E Series' succesor. it was time to make a new van
@@elmowilson298 Yessir, and a very good successor they did!
@@Davido50 No doubt about it. The Transit is simply awesome
Very nice but does this comes in extended version?
😬😬😬 Not that I’ve seen.
@@NothinButCarReviews Ok., thank you
Do both 2nd row seats swivel to face the back? If not, what the hell were they thinking?
Yes, they both swivel. 😁😁
I was wondering that too, so they can face either way, that’s nice.
You don't cut the TV on. You turn the TV on. But, you do cut the TV off or turn the TV off.
I ain’t never thought of it like that…🤔
Overall height? Will it fit regular house garage?
I'm going to say no, lol.
E-Series seem much more heavy duty. Looks like a bunch of wasted interior space compared to the E-Series.
Can you get ventilated seats in these? Or only heat?
I haven’t seen any with cooled seats, but it might be an option.
360 DEGREE SENSOR CAMERA WITH AUTO DRIVE 12 PLY WHEEL WITH MAGS
The same like Chevrolet Savina 1500: 2020
Do middle seats stow or do they come out?
I believe they come out.
Not too much seat at the back.
“Ford”
Looks European like those Mercedes Sprinters.
Its better built than the Sprinter or Mercedes. Built in Kansas City. More engine options. AWD avail. Stronger frames. We have 2 for our biz. Run em hard daily!
1:03
How much do it cost?
$80k
Can you rotate that seat
I believe so
Explorer does a much better job on the GMC conversions.
no
Cuanto puede costar
How much is this?
$70-$80k
Oh my god.......I'm on S. S. ..........Way beyond my means........I love it, don't think that I don't........In 1997 I bought a '93 Econoline con-version van and ran it until 2018......What memories of going everywhere and not worrying about ROOM for the kids to sleep etc, etc.......
Thats the chevy one just different seats 😢😂
Cut it off\turn it on!
Exactly! Lmao
Econoline much better!! Ford made a mistake cancelling them!!
Great van but it's sold by the pound 😂
Pretty far from the comfort the Econoline gave.... GM's vans are soo much better and they will last and be reliable.
GMC is way better
To the misfortune of humanity, planned obsolescence, that is,
the waste of valuable resources and many of them unrecoverable
and many impossible to recycle, is an unbreakable rule for the
benefit of the great corporate capital that owns the world's
resources to the detriment of mother earth and the entire humanity
that between moans decays hopelessly in sight, American cars are
programmed to fall apart as quickly as possible with the least possible
effort so that they are as expensive as possible
Very ugly 🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 it’s not American van
Better to make a new generation of express with a Diesel engine
Its All American! Built in Kansas City friend by 5,000 Ford employees. Strongest frames. Most engine options. AWD available. We love our so much we bought another! 2 Transit vans in driveway. #Ecoboost
So ugly! Who designs ford products, there always 25yrs behind and looks like they’re marketing too country old white America. The Chevy is way better.
the ugliest van on the road
It's an ugly color. I would never ever buy a red car.
I had a red car before and trust me, I got plenty of tickets in it. My friend is a State Trooper and he confirmed that a red car is not the thing to have, insurance on a red car is even higher! Never purchased another red car since getting rid of the one i had...
I never had tickets on my red 2017 Ford Escape yet, but I do however have autism, and I'm not those who drive crazy, I got red because it's my favorite color, and I can't see anything ugly about it.
👍👍👍👍👍
