Don't choose tamil as degree for upsc. Choose engineering or medicine. So you will have a back up plan. Do you know? most of the ias officers are from engineering back ground. Better go with engineering. Then try for upsc. There you can change and choose your optional based on your interest 😉. Think wisely!
