You can find the reaction to Kill Bill 1 here : czcams.com/video/Glur_rhS6cE/video.html
Actually Quentin Tarantino made Kill Bill 1 and 2 as just 1 long movie, but the theaters didn't want to show movies that long... So he divided it into 2 movies
My favorite scenes are "The cruel tutelage of Pai Mae" and the snow fight scene with O Ren Ishii.
Pai Mae is a recurring character in samurai movies. Tarantino did good to include him in this movie, its a hat tip to the genre and shows respect.
For my code name you can call me "Trouser Cobra".
The movie that Beatrix and BB watch at bed time is called "Shogun assassin". It was one of the first movies I watched in the Samurai genre and is an absolute classic. You should add it to your list its really good. Here's the official trailer czcams.com/video/ZxAPEyzcCtU/video.html
@@xenowerks7020And following the recurring actors in different roles theme, Pai Mae was played by the same actor as the leader of the Crazy 88.
@@donsample1002 Chia-Hui Liu plays Hong Wen-Ting, the hero who had defeated Pai Mei only to go toe-to-toe with his twin, who has mastered the fatal "hundred pace palm" technique. Many years later in Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004), Liu played the part of the evil Pai Mei, the same white-haired character with a fatal "five-point palm-exploding heart technique."
1st ones better... Oren & Go Go. Plus it explains each villain before the music hits. We only heard it once here.
My codename ...Arizona Bullsnake. 🐍
Believe it or not the guy that played Esteban is the same guy that played the sheriff at the church in KB1. Michael Parks was an awesome actor. RIP
One of my favorites. He was amazing. He was great in Kevin Smiths Red State.
Also Paimei was the same person who was the commander of 88
Yesur. He got the authentic feel of a Mexican with a Spaniard ancestry. I didn't know he was the cop until last year.
He was also not cast in the role. It was supposed to be Ricardo Montalban (rich, Corinthian leather!) but he wasn’t able to get to the line reading. Parks filled in and Tarantino liked him.
Michael Parks was in many B-grade movies and TV series back in the 60s/70s and most likely why he was chosen by Tarantino who loves that era. But in my mind, he'll always be the roaming biker from the TV series Then Came Bronson.
12:05 he shot her with rock salt which is generally non lethal
Not Lethal but horrible painful
@@MaoKatz Literally putting salt in the wounds.
@@MaoKatzthat’s just Hollywood, rock salt wouldn’t do anything at that range unless is got into your eyes or mouth.
@@MichaelLayne702 he shot her from like 3 feet away sitting in that chair.
@@synystera rock salt would turn into dust after the explosion, so it does not matter.
I love Pad Mei`s lines.
Pai Mei: [punches through a block of wood from three inches away] Since your arm now belongs to me, I want it strong. Can you do that?
The Bride: I can, but not that close.
Pai Mei: Then you can't do it. What if your enemy is three inches in front of you, what do you do then? Curl into a ball? Or do you put your fist through him?
This is so cool because in Vol1 after the crazy 88 fight she says this.
The Bride: [in Japanese] Those of you lucky enough to have your lives, take them with you. However, leave the limbs you've lost. They belong to me now.
[in English]
The Bride: Except you, Sofie! You stay right where you are!
After that you have the little limbs talk with Sofie.
The Bride: [English] I've kept you alive for two reasons. And the first reason is information.
Sofie Fatale: [French] Burn in hell, blonde bitch! I'll tell you nothing!
The Bride: [English] But I am gonna ask you questions. And every time you don't give me answers, I'm gonna cut something off. And I promise you, they will be things you will miss. Give me your other arm! [Sophie screams].
It is nice how that connects.
Not only that but the arm that's belongs to Pei Mei is the one she uses to rip out Elle's eye, so he got revenge for her killing him through Beatrix.
Seeing Volume 2 in a darkened theater, the coffin scene was so impactful.. and the surprise meeting of her daughter.. Volume 2 was the more artful film, in my opinion. Though the fighting was very good in Volume 1, especially the final one. They're both very good, IMO.
Quentin is amazing at using a theater to it's maximum potential. I saw the hateful eight in an old style wide screen and it was phenomenal in that atmosphere
My favourite movie was Kill Bill.
You can't judge them as 2 separate movies because it was never supposed to be 2 movies, it was made as 1 long movie and that's how I think about it.
Vol 1 obviously has the bigger action scenes that are way more impressive, but Vol 2 has some great character drama and better dialogue. I think the best way is, to view them both as one big movie. Also, Beatrix was happy crying at the end for having her daughter back and finishing her revenge.
I find myself rewatching Vol 2 much more for the reasons you said.
I also thought she was coming down off of that drug that Bill pumped injected into her
David Carradine, who played Bill, was the star of the TV show "Kung Fu" in the early 1970s. He played a Chinese Shoulin priest who came to the American Cowboy West during the late 1800s. Every episode included a flashback to his training at the Shoulin temple, and also included a fight scene where he used his kung-fu skills and always won.
One of my favorites as a kid.
Fun fact. This was originally made as ONE MOVIE. But Quentin had a hard time cutting out enough of the scenes to get it down to a 2 to 3 hour film. So instead he cut it in half and made it into 2 parts. This is why we see "flash foward" scenes in part 1 that are actually in part 2 (they had already filmed them). Thanks for another great reaction.
“We’re gonna go shopping after this. We’re gonna need new snakes.” 🤣❤️
“She deed eet”! I love this channel.
Hi Miss Biss!🙂I am glad you are continuing your Kill Bill journey! Budd's shotgun was just filled with rock salt, so it would not be fatal, even at close range. Esteban was played by Michael Parks who was an American actor. The kills in the first film were better. But, originally this was supposed to be one long film, so you can forgive the lack of kills in this one. Great reactions to your second Kill Bill film, Bisscute!!!🎬👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
She was shot with salt cartridges. It's non lethal but it gets under your skin and stings so much. They are used for different reasons. But mainly used for if you don't want to kill a person that is a threat to you.
36:36 tbf, bill is right here (kinda). I mean, we the audience know that clark runs away from danger to do his job as superman but to the people around him in cannon clark is a dork that runs away when there’s danger.
So as someone that grew up in the desert near the actual Cafe in this movie, nobody in Hollywood knows how to walk in the desert. If you have no water you don't forge through the middle of noon to get anywhere (especially in summer) unless you want to die.
I've always viewed her crying at the end as the first time she was afforded the chance to be emotional. She mourned for 0.5 seconda in the hospital and then it was survival mode/revenge/strategy mode until then.
"Dumb bass" 😂
I like the first one the best because of the fight with O-Ren, Gogo, and the Crazy-88. All the blood spraying around so dramatically cracks me up.
Fun fact the actor playing the me icon pimp is the same actor who played the Sherriff in first movie. Great actor
The actor playing Estaban is Michael Parks.. The same guy who played the sheriff in El Paso.
I was holding to watch Vol.1 till this was ready, to enjoy both together... Thanks for the reactions!
A lot of folks don't know shotguns enough to understand about "a double dose of rock salt".
Shotgun shells can be loaded with all sorts of projectiles. In this case, instead of metal, it was loaded with rock salt.
The rick salt doesn't Pentwater as deep as metal. It digs in under the surface, then gets dissolved by the blood. Ever get salt in an open wound? THAT across the entire wound area!
Both are masterpieces in their own rights. There were rumors years ago that Vernita's daughter from the first scene of part 1 was going to come back 10 years later to avenge her mother's death. Tarantino said he wanted to give "The Bride" 10 years of peace before figuring it out. Great reaction!
What bride and figure what out?
@@920WASHBURN The Bride, Beatrice Kiddo, the man character, they called her the bride from the beginning? Tarantino loved the story so much he wanted to give her character 10 years of peace before doing Kill Bill 3
@@920WASHBURN He was still figuring out what to do with the other characters at that point, and we're at the eleven year marker, maybe he let it go 🤷♂️
@@heresstigman4392 ahhh. That's where the ten years comes in. Nice.
*The great thing is, Nikkia Bell (Ambrosia Kelley) & B.B. Kiddo (Perla Haney-Jardine), the 2 young daughters in the movies, are now in their early-mid 20's. Old enough to face off against each other in "Volume 3". But Quentin is still iffy about the idea. But look em up. They're gorgeous.*
*And as much as I like Maya Hawke (who is Mia's real daughter, and I hear might star as Beatrix's daughter, B.B.), Perla should stay the original B.B., and Maya could be written in as her sister. Name her, "Willamina/Wilhelmina" (Billy)* 😁
The trailer fight scene is one of my all time favorite scenes
From what I've heard from escape artists a coffin holds about 5 hours of air surprisingly.
You asked which one we liked better. Well ... for me ... I don't view these movies as two different separate ones. I see them as one movie with a very long intermission.
Estoban who tells B where bill is. That's the same actor who plays the sheriff in the first movie.
He is used playing the same sheriff character in a lot of these movies.
He plays the sheriff in Kill Bill 1, in dusk' till dawn. in Death proof. He plays the same sheriff in all of of those moves. So we can assume that all of those movies take place in the same unifers3qw
"Aren't they the girls from the church?" No, but someone from the church was in that scene. The actor playing the drug lord was also the lawman who came to the church after the massacre.
Another actor playing two parts was the one playing Pai Mai, who also played O-Ren's bald chief henchman in KB1.
Answering your second question, Miss B, I choose the name Bocaracá. A real killer from the jungles of my country. Not fast a death, but slow one. Not venom, but a last hug.
Paula Schultz was actually a wife of Dr King Schultz (Christoph Waltz) from Django Unchained 😊
I happen to be born in a Year of the Snake, so this is a natural for me!! Just call me Viper...a call back to Battlestar Galactica fighter ship and Top Gun call sign for one of the instructors.
27:27. Finally! A charter in a movie listed to the audience! Finally!
13:03. The only debilitating fear I have is that I am in an inescapable place, especially if I can’t move my hands or legs. Do anything, including drowning, just keep me out of a hole I can’t move in, and of course that’s the only nightmare I have.
6:48 the reason the actor for bill is funny is that he used to play Kwai-Chang Caine, a half-Chinese Shaolin Priest who had to flee to the USA after he killed a member of the Chinese royal family who had killed his master. 🙂 The story took place in the 1800s when China was still a free country. The name of the show was "Kung Fu".
The TV show was actually Bruce Lee's idea, but the studio didn't want Bruce Lee to be the main actor because he wasn't white.
It's too bad because it's actually a pretty cool show, just, they needed to do it with a guy who was actually Chinese-American or at least Asian-American.
His daughter created a similar show, based on his notes for "Kung Fu", and called it "Warrior". If you subscribe to "Max" you can see it. It's pretty awesome and the martial arts in the series is amazing! Everybody who does Kung Fu in the show actually knows Kung Fu! 🙂
Did you notice when Ellie Driver loses her 2nd eye, the tantrum was very similar to when Pris from Blade Runner gets killed....same actress, Daryl Hannah 😉
One and two are one movie. The studio wouldn’t allow the runtime, so I never think of it as two movies.
“The coffee didn’t reach my brain yet” - I’m gonna have to start using that line! My everyday struggle 😂
32:23 Yesss! I have been waiting for this standard statement of yours. 😁😁😁
The second half (Vol. 2) is my favorite. In particular, everything about the setting and dialogue in Bill's hacienda perfectly caps off the whole story. It was the perfect way to kill Bill.
If I were an assassin, my codename would probably be "Clumsy Stumbles".
The way you made your hair into a beard just so you could flick it had me in stitches! LOL
It’s the tension between two deadset killers.
19:01 that's the one inch punch. My instructor taught me the Korean version by taking a metal coffee container (like from a grocery store) and filling it with lead shot, wrapping cotton around it, and then wrapping duct tape around that. HE can do a one inch and make it fly seven feet (over two meters) across a table. I can only make it go like 2.5-3 feet (one meter). It takes practice 🙂 In sparring you're not going to have that kind of focus to hit that hard, it's just an exercise. But it teaches focus and the ability to move your muscles in concert to get a nice strong strike without needing a big swing. 🙂
“We’re gonna go shopping after this, we’re gonna need new snakes” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Answering your questions:
1. Kill Bill, Vols 1 and 2 are two halves of one movie. Ask me which half is better is like asking me which half of an orange I liked better; they're both part of the same orange. So the answer is, there is no answer.
2. All of the Deadly Vipers were named after different snakes, so I think I'd have to go with the Harlequin.
The pretty psycho girl from the Japanese film 'Battle Royale' (Kou Shibasaki) was supposed to be in Kill Bill 2 as Go-Go's older sister who follows Beatrix back to the U.S. for revenge and Beatrix has to kill her too. But Kou was already doing another show or film and couldn't be in Kill Bill so her character was written out of the script. Btw, the Go-Go actress was also in Battle Royale.
13:25 The actress playing the bride is claustrophobic in real life. So the panic in her voice is legit.
Oh I see ❤️
Being-Being Part 2 haha!!!!🔥😅... Magnificent film... a gem of cinema🤯🤩💯
He played that flute in the Kung Fu TV series.
My code name would be Timber Rattler. I see Timber Rattlesnakes all the time when I hike
Seen this flick probably 10 times over the yrs, but for some reason the wordplay in the "Elle and I" chapter title only recently clicked in my brain.
18:40. Until a month ago, I let my hair grow out. It had gotten long. Too long for a tree guy. I liked it, tho. I liked brushing it. Had to cut it. I missed it mightily for the first few days. I still miss it/they.😕
15:00 scene reference #movie "Clan Of The White Lotus."-Ernie Moore Jr.
6:00 XD I was happy that they got one on you
Not her predicting The eye 😂
"What seems to be ze tlouble?"

No, no, no, no, nooooooo. I'm more than upset I am angry. Yes, I am hungry and I am angry.
I am hangry. I am a hangry Hungarian. Oh well. Would you please pass me another mineral water?";)
The ending of Kill Bill 2 was filmed in Mexico. 🇲🇽🇺🇲💯👍🏼
Liquid Swords!! One of my fav albums
"No sarcasm, no backtalking" ....you would make the Master Pai Mei so angry. 😜
Thank you for watching the video, It means a lot to me .
I will leave this pinned message here to REMIND everyone that i do not have TELEGRAM and there is no GIVEAWAY. Those you see are bot scams . Keep yourself safe and know that I would not ask for your info. ❤ ❤
02:55 "You have no family, at all?" That is a very rude thing to say. A true Texan would never ask that. A fake movie Texan would, which is why it's in the movie.
The "spanish actor" is the same actor as the cop in the beginning of the movie. The one who got spit.
Remember, they are two halves of the same movie ;)
There is a cruel tutelage to pay me, and it is a hard and expensive lesson to learn tbh
The man who played "Vihaio" was also the Chief of Police in "Kill Bill vol 1"... His Chief of Police character was brought back in the "Grindhouse" Movies, Death Proof and Planet Terror.
In the 70's splatter movies, they use the same actors in their movies and also rehashed characters.
Quentin enjoys doing this technique, like using Samuel L.Jackson in Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill (the Pianist) and the Hateful Eight.
You're always so ahead of what's going to happen.
Great reaction. My favorite of the two films is the first. My codename would be Koa.😊
12:20 the body (Paula) is still ion the coffin on the right (as you are reading the headstone). Hope you get your eggs bacon and sandwich!
Great reaction Biss! Next time have some snacks to curb your hunger 😁 I enjoyed watching ❤ .
One of my favorite movies
20:32 About 5hrs if breathing normally. Less if you start to panic.
Not going to lie, your gross out faces made me laugh stupid hard. I know I shouldn't laugh at such things, but those faces, much like a Hatori Hanzo Sword, were priceless. 😆
Eggs and Bacon... mmm!!! Come visit the west coast of the US sometime! I make killer breakfast sandwiches (English Muffin toasted w goat cheese, eggs, bacon and spices) and if you like wine, we have some of the best wine-tasting! Glad you enjoyed the movie! Super bad-ass!
I hear colors all day. It's when you start seeing sounds, you know you're in for a ride.
I'd say I prefer Volume 2, for one simple reason: David Carridine. I would have loved more of him in this film, and more other films with him. That guy is just eternally cool.
My Deadly Viper Assassination Squad code name would be "Tsuchinoko" because I could stand to lose some weight.
For Me in kill Bill one it was the Fight between Gogo & Beatrix
As for kill Bill 2 I Enjoyed Pie Mae teaching Beatrix her skills
Like Button 🔘 has been Illuminated 😁👍👍😎🌞
Note I have Check over your watch list Yet I would recommend to you any of these movies
1) Wall - E
2) End off Days
3) Stigmata
4) Alita Battle Angel 😇
My assassin name: Little Dick
Every skill I have as an assassin is compensation for the size. Be Scared (It's really small) !!!
Mine would be Stoner. I'd drug my victims
The knife was sticking in the wooden stock of her gun. Something you nor I noticed right off. How many people did she kill with a sword in part 2? Exactly.
I don't know whether I can say which is better since one compliments the other. I do know this was supposed to be one movie but they had to break into two. The first volume had WAY more action and the choreography was insane. The second volume tied the story together, not as much action but I loved the back story of Betrix, especially with Pei Mei.....Such a wonderful ode to classic Kung-Fu movies.
When I saw them for the first time, my favorite was Vol.1, but after seeing them repeatedly I can say that the best is Vol.2
7:53 Bud knows they are all a bunch of cold blooded killers. So he is right that the world would probably be better with all of them not in it.
The technique Beatrix uses to get out of the coffin is actually the one inch punch, popularized by Bruce Lee.
Biss, my codename would be Fat Cobra. 😄 May I suggest a comedy for one of your future movie reactions? "Top Secret!" (1984). It is made by the Airplane! guys. Bonus suggestion: Dredd (2012), the one with Karl Urban not the crappy 1995 one with Stallone. I believe you would enjoy both. Keep up the good work!
This chick doesnt seem like she knows whats going on half the time lol. Im glad the awesome wedding scene was ruined by her being confused and talking over it.
My ex used to say my DVAS name is Anaconda.
Mythbusters tested the coffin thing, you don't have that much time like she had.
I would lean more to 1. I love the Pai Mei scene, the beard flip. But part 1 is more my taste.
I like code name : Boa constrictor .
You should do a reaction on the avengers 1998 it also stars Uma Thurman and she plays 2 characters. Good Uma and bad Uma. Also 3 actors who were in Harry Potter and Sean Connery. It's got a lot of action and a surreal sense of humor
She only killed 1 person in this volume.. And still, it was basicly because Bill didn't wanted to spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair.
(Anyway, Budd was killed by.. A black mamba).
I like both, and my assassin name would be The Joker (of course).
The code names they have are actual snake names. I don't think 'Sharp Fangs' would be accepted.
I don't really consider them different films, they're a package deal to me
I think you’d really like watching M. Night Shyamalan’s three movies Unbreakable, Split and Glass. They’re all three a trilogy to watch consecutively. That would be a great set of reaction videos!
I will take the 2nd, just a more interesting plot, more intriguing! Episode 1 all blood less intrigue, but then I know you like blood! Lol. Raging eye snatcher is a good name, I liked that part!! Great reaction Biss❤😊
11:08 nah, it's not a real shotgun blast, it's rock salt. she's heavily stunned but wouldn't be dead. They should have had her be able to keep the katana in her hand, and cut his knees when he came close. Of course, then the movie would have been much shorter lmao. 🙂
Love your reactions,, so cute saying, poke her eye out,, she only has one, come on, poke her eye out,,, ohhhhh she listened to me!!!!!
Ok question one, I prefer Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2 as one without the other is not a complete movie. Just like it drove me crazy to have to wait for you to watch part 2. Then question two, is I would have to be Western Timber Rattlesnake, as they are the only poisonous snakes we have in my area, not bad eating, and beautiful on the nature.
You are really cute. and smart. Your guesses are pretty spot on in many of your reactions. You would make a good Movie Writer.
I cannot say which one is better. They are halfs of one. They were made as one movie and just cut in half so they are one movie to me and this is near perfect cinema for me. Kill Bill is in my top10 movies of all time.
I'd be Python as I'm big, not too quick on my feet and have no specific weapon skills. I'd have to squeeze my victims to death.
I see Kill Bill as one film divided into two parts. I don't want to judge which is better - they are different, but they are part of one whole.
What fascinates me - while in the first part Beatrix kills one person after another, in the second she doesn't kill anyone except Bill (and she doesn't kill him with a katana either). Budd dies from a snake bite and Elle is also left blinded with a poisonous snake in a remote location.
