I've seen many times Nothing Phone 2 clicks surprisingly good photos which won't be possible if it had a trash sensor. So, the bad photos are actually the results of software optimisation. I think Nothing can easily fix those upon feedbacks. They've already tuned much like iPhone in many scenarios
I'm late to the party, but I don't think Nothing can "easily" fix this with a software update, because getting camera software right is not easy at all and Nothing is a small company. They did the right thing by choosing a solid sensor, but software-wise they still have a long way to go. :')
@@vishal_gauta650 Nothing's CEO has spoken about this. They are a startup that is trying to capture market share, so they are purposely pricing low to capture that market share. Apple has huge market share so they have pricing power
was so intrigued to see the results of this from your thread and wow it looks pretty good! crazy to see the nothing phone beat the iPhone in highlights for some of those situations O:
I have seen some praises for nothing phone 1 using google camera app instead of their stock camera app, but for some reason not 1 reviewer mention anything about this on phone 2. Any reason for that?
I'm an Android guy but I can be objective. I like the Nothing phone's photos more, by quite a bit, about half the time, but when it fails, it fails hard, and that bokeh is a mess. So even tho most of my favourite shots came out of Nothing, I'd say iPhone is more consistent. That said, if Carl and the team are commited to reiterating on the software, they're already most of the way there to a stellar camera experience
Did not yet watch the vid but I already know it’s gonna be good. A piece of advice change the thumbnail (if possible) to be more consistent with the your other thumbnails cuz the first time I saw the vid I didn’t click on. But when I saw it was from your channel I clicked. And your thumbnails are actually what attracted me to your channel in the first place.
Please make a video of someone who’s been immersed on apple ecosystem for many years and how you actually used an android device (while still within the apple ecosystem). I’m one of those immersed people but Nothing phone really makes me android curious. Thanks!
It is sad to see that Nothing is copying the look & feel of Samsung photos but without the dynamic range competency. Either the sensor they could afford is rubbish or the postprocessing is still not properly tuned.
IMO even the regular 14 would’ve yielded similar results to the 14 Pro. It’s more of a comparison between Nothing’s software algorithms vs Apple’s at this point.
I think the nothing phone's camera processing software is what's causing the inconsistencies and this could probably be solved with an update

I like the Nothing phone colour profiles. Sort of reminds me of the old Kodak/ Fuji colours 😊 nothing wrong with having an unique look .
thats what im tweeing carl a lot.A fuji colour style x100v
Looks really good!
Super interesting to see the photos taken on the Nothing Phone (2)!
from an "artistic" standpoint to point shoot and post definitely really digging the nothing phones character !
Thank you! 2:32 I don’t know why Apple doesn’t do anything against it. You pay over 1200$ and the picture looks like a 50$ phone
Killing it. Btw, loved the Titleist bucket hat ;D
great comparison
But how One costs $600 and other one costs $1000 or more
I'm truly confused 😕
Or maybe it's just me and my rational 😅
@@vishal_gauta650 you're paying for the brand and ecosystem

Great video! Very informative!
In India nothing phone 2 price 40000 ₹ and iPhone 14 pro max 140000 ₹ 😂 more the 3 times 😅
if i get the nothign phoen i will be downgrading from the 14 pro max do you think its worth it?
iPhone and neutral color palette? If anything it's warm.

How is that objective
Did you make sure the lenses were clean?

Great advice!
I love the nothing 2 front camera but the main one needs to be adjusted with a software because the red tone colour is too saturated.
For half the price, it's pretty amazing results, mostly I prefer the nothing phones shots, except were it was allot warmer and unnatural looking

want to buy NP2 but can't imagine how to live without airdrop
Love how at 1.09 you can see the planet Jupiter in the sky and even tho I'm in the UK I can also see Jupiter from here
Nothing phone 2 stacks RAW photos (first time seeing) for hdr instead of jpeg like other phones.
To be honest, the Nothing images have the old school film look.

It’s the postprocessing
I hope nothing works in their dynamic range and the skies get blown most of the time
Apple did that too, quite a few blown out highlights
Kinda unfair comparison, iphone 14 regular would be more of a price equal

Somehow I feel you shared Carl Pei's face, but less sleepy.
I have nothing phone 2
Yeah, I mean if you want to iPhone to look punchier, you can select the vibrant “style” and it will process with punchy colors from the raw data.
show me vedio..............pics all ok
acutally a noting phone 2 user but i prefered the iphones photos
how is the NP2 camera for everyday use?
Way over saturated
nothing phone completly destroyed at that test
Basically the camera is trash on the Nothing Phone2
Bro what?? It’s personal opinion some people like the more saturated look compared to the drained colours
