i think that every time the people with the "bad" traits will win because the chance of inheritances isn't a lot and they will eventually just turn into normals, making them really op
That's true, Mellon should toggle that option to have 100% chance of inheritances.
Curious way to look at it
The worst can only grow out of it, while the best can only tarnish their heritage
I suppose early game doesnt matter much, so all the traits get mudded together and when it comes to actual conquering its just about who has a bigger army
Yeah, the traits just fade out and the places with the most population and thus army win.

Battle idea: 3x3 square, like tic-tac-toe board, with mountains in between each. Put each race of humanoids in each corner, put each one of the summoning things (like tumor and cybercore) on the side squares, and put a few undead in the center. See which one comes on top. Also, if you don't want the cybercore, you can use bandits or some one man army.

Yes power box is a mod you can add traits/armor or weapons and other powers that are not available ingame
You can download NCMS ON mac but there is one good one by beserker knight revised one

if possible you should somehow turn up the likeliness of inheriting traits all the way, then if you start with two traitless people eventually you'll get superhumans
Suggestion: Next time for this type of videos, make the outest most spaces oceans instead of just all land. Therefore Naval development of countries will be useful.

Pretty sure the super geniuses would have won if both genius and them declared war on the idiots first instead of getting each others' armies killed.
I guess that makes them pretty stupid. If they were actually geniuses, they would defeat the common enemy and live in harmony.
i wish the intelligent traits actually effect their day-to-day lives like if they are in war, the ones with the best intelligence will most likely win
Smart people find a way to send the idiots to war for them. Historically.
In mordern warfare that is actually the case now. Technology has advanced so much that the utilities of something like an anti-tank ballistic launcher is both used as a thermal/night vision scanner that can be use without the automated tracker is used by creative troops giving them huge advantages over people who lack them or have them but never think of this use.
Real modern armies want smart people hence why they offer so many education bonuses and home assistance. If they wanted as many idiots as they could get there hands on they'd cut all the college stuff and just give folks bigger checks. And days off. maybe salary? I don't know, i study sociology not economic sociology

Truly even batle for science. Having less pop' due to higher int' seems kinda silly when you're trying to directly compare that one stat.
If Super's don't win that, then we're all done for.
I'm curious if it would have been different if the locations of super-genius and genius were swapped.
It is possible that idiots were going down to super-geniuses and killing them for their weapons and since supers had such low numbers they couldn't really fight back, even with better weapons it's still 10 to 1.
Swapping spots would have made it supers vs genius (25 vs 10) and vs normal (5v1) which could have given the supers more of even odds numbers wise.
This is a prime example of how civilization was created.

Spin a wheel with all the traits and give them to 4 nations and let them grow and then fight
Bro make sure to put on angry villagers. The normals merged with the idiots and the geniuses join they shortly after. There was no way the super geniuses could win with that much people

The balancing on things like this could really use a rework. Instead of halving the population each time, try a simple reduction of 20 or so. That should allow for numbers advantage early on, but let each group expand earlier, too.

Then you’re not determining if it’s intelligence but adding an extra variable. You have to do the same number, at the same time, in near identical areas of value, and for best results repeat the experiment.

I think the main reason idiots always win is because 1. The idiot trait fades out over time, and 2. There’s always way too many of them.
Idea: make them all dumb, with the most negative traits, most hostile environment, but good recourses

What are the intelligence levels for each class? It doesn't seem fair if it isn't properly scaled. People with only a quarter of the intelligence having tenfold the population is more of an advantage than you'd think

I feel like the super geniuses would've clapped if they were opposite of the idiots as opposed to next to them, thats the leg up the geniuses had and probably why they lasted so long. High pop is basically a fast win except for in the early game
This is why you don't argue with idiots. They will just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Is the traits menu part of the game or a mod? I have the mobile game but not the pc version yet.
This kinda proves that numbers win, not necessarily that brains win or lose. You gotta have the same number of each to actually test whether or not it's the idiots winning, or just the biggest group winning.
You need a larger map and some bodies of water. Numbers trump everything when you're in an enclosed space like this. If there were land shapes in water then your geniuses and super geniuses could maybe use their boats to take islands. Also, how smart those first guys are doesn't matter for much after the first few generations. So either find a way to make traits 100% inheritable or, maybe try this out with elves instead. Just some thoughts. :)
