  • I ended up combining the last 3 days of our cruise into one video since I didn't film much on some of the days.
    Here is Day 3: #Cozumel #Mexico
We booked the #PlayaMia Resort Excursion through the cruise. They picked us up by school bus, and drove down the beach for 20-30 minutes to a nice resort. They had chairs and umbrellas, and the cocktails and food was included. We went swimming and tried out the #underwatercamera for the first time. Then we went on a water bicycle, which was a lot of fun and a lot of work. Lunch was a Nacho Bar and fruit. The final blue drink was called a See You Later, and after drinking that and getting back on the bus, all of the adults passed out, lol.
    Day 4 at Sea
This was more of a relaxing day on the ship, as not much was filmed. We enjoyed the early showing of Beauty and the Beast in the Theatre, it was really well done. The adult hot tub was nice with the window looking out over the sea and one down to the ship beneath us. We did more of the Picture Detective game, which is nicely done, and the inclusion of The Muppets and Pepe's Door was a nice touch. When all of the families cleared the pool for dinner, and the rest of the cruise went to see Beauty and the Beast, we had the AquaDunk mostly to ourselves.
The Old-Fashioned tasting was the most expensive of the "Drink Seminars", but the experience was mixed for me. I was anticipating a wider variety of kinds of old fashioned, with the smoking bubble or bacon (ick) or flavors. We ended up with a selection of different Whiskey (Japanese, Bourbon, sherry cask finished, maybe a rum added?). By the end of it, I couldn't remember all of the details. My issue was that the flavors were very similar - down to fine nuances in the alcohol - since the sweetener and bitters were nearly identical. Also, two of the guests did not show up, so there were only 5 people included and 10 extra drinks to finish.
    Day 5: Castaway Cay
This was definitely the highlight of the cruise. We started with the 5k, to get the hard stuff out of the way. It was a fun little run with a couple of Easter eggs along the way to check out. We then enjoyed some #snorkeling, which is great until Ry and I lost each other in the water for a good 15 minutes. We still really enjoyed exploring the water landscape underneath us. I heard people locating a sting ray, but I didn't get to see it. Then we went down to #SerenityBay and had lunch and some cocktails to luxuriate on the peaceful beach.
    Disembarkation Day
This was the sad day, the return to civilization and turning back on your cell service. Since our flight wasn't until 5pm, and the airport is small and asks people not to hang out all day, we booked a #ResortPass stay at the Airport Marriott in Fort Lauderdale. The booking was for a day pass to the pool, with a cabana, water, and towels. When we got there, the 4 cabanas were already claimed by people who eventually sat at the same cabana together. The pool was cold, windy and in the shade. Also, the keys to get back information the restrooms didn't work for anyone and we somehow got lost in the sister hotel tower, unable to get back to the pool. It was an experience. We left our bags with the front desk and went outside. We ended up finding a cute little dive bar around the corner #ParadiseTikiofDaniaBeach and had a great lunch by the canal. We walked around the new and very quiet shopping area before leaving for the airport.
