i saw this over 40 years ago...is the psyco house still there? do they still part the water...rock slide...spinning ice tunnel???? GOOD TIMES!!!
Yes, the psycho motel and house are still there, but not often included in the spring tours. The tour has evolved greatly from these memories and while they may point out where they were, there are many new things to check out.
What do you mean by different music alignments?
@princessdaisy26 that the music for the Frozen section wasn't aligned with their floats. The dancers ahead of the float weren't even dancing, but I wasn't sure if that was due to the music or something else. There were other moments that didn't line up like it usually would, for me.
@@gbb_world it's most likely due to technical issues happening within the parade control booth. I believe each musical piece is manually cued per speaker depending on what section on the parade route the float is on, so tech issues like that are bound to happen.

I love the Swiss Family Robinson, but why did Disney change the tree house from Tarzan to this? Tarzan is a worldwide famous name, compared to Swiss Family Robinson. Is it because Tarzan is such a perfect example of heterosexual masculinity, and Disney is trying to get away from promoting such strong male characters? I don't know. Just a thought. I DO see Disney has now an agenda that is anything but true and good these days
I really don't know, there are a lot of new themes they could have updated it to. Although, to be fair, the new treehouse is not based on the Swiss Family Robinson story, but "inspired" by them, which leaves it open and vague. But I do miss the cool middle-of-the-road entry point and bridge across the walkway in a really high flow traffic zone.
What are your favorite parts of the parade? I like the dancing snowmen and carolers performers and the reindeer.
We are also team snowmen!

Lol, whichever one is being the most mischievous or sassy (it probably changes throughout the parade route and days). In this parade/moment it was the one with the Disney ball cap and the sun hat with the pink scarf.
Clarabelle is always the moment too.

This attraction is bond to get you wet, LOL.
I enjoyed the nods to local things like the parrot and whale. I felt like the soundtrack was an afterthought and wasn’t at all well integrated or timed. The show definitely was cool, however I felt like the pacing was off and lacked a real fantastical finale moment. I believe this would have been really, really cool in tandem with fireworks. I guess I’m still on the fence about the whole thing. I just miss the old days of the after firework marshmallow war. I know that it was awful for the environment, but damn it was fun!!! I think that’s the thing, this show was cool not fun.. 🤷🏼♀️
I agree with your points, and it's cool to see something different in our town. You can get fireworks from 50 different places around town including views from Sea World, Mission Bay and the bay if you're high enough, but we're the only ones (besides La Jolla) putting our name up in the sky. It's a cool evolution. Plus, the marshmallows were sooo sticky, hahaha 😆 😂
