This song over the years has slowly grown to be my favorite red song of all time
This song is awesome and petrifying all at the same time, the emotions of sorrow, anguish and panic all summoned by the growl of the guitar, the powerful vocals, and the soft notes of the piano.
I just discovered this band like 4 minutes ago, and I must say I love it.

This album is pure beauty. I honestly love it more than any other Red album. You can feel how mature they are now. I love the little MUSE twist in "Shadow and Soul". I love the sense of Urgency in this very song. I love how much of a waste I feel when I listen to "Darkest Part". I love the hate "Gravity Lies" bring inside of me. I love how cleansing "Of these chains" is.
This is most probably one of my favorite album to listen to.
that's all true, some of their songs can be really depressing, especially for me, since they bring up bad memories from the time when i first started listening to them. it's been like a year that i've urged myself not to listen to them because of that, and here i am again. truly a magnificent band

By the way, this is one of my favorite Red songs. I just love the chaos, anxiety, even nervousness in this song. Feels like everything just falls apart, for real. And that crazy violin here 3:55 makes me feel like I'm about to explode, scattering around all the guises.

The scream at 3:35 is honestly one of the most chilling I've ever heard in a song.
You should hear the only scream he lets out in "Already Over", that was when I discovered these guys and now they're my sleeper band that I show to friends.
