Everyone works, they all have extra income from their own and everyone else’s and it helps a ton. But in practice people end up not working and just taking money from those who work. Making the people who work realize that it doesn’t matter how much they do because others will just take their money, making them work less, meaning significantly less money overall.

As a right wing person, I think Prager U is definitely an NPC channel with no nuance. They're a bunch of neocon capitalist bootlickers. When I read some Marx I found his proposed solutions terrible, but the problems with capitalism that he addresses were valid critiques that we are definitely seeing today. Anyone who pretends capitalism is this perfect system is not taking the issue seriously enough. honestly to an extent we need Marx’s ideas to stay around… it keeps the public opinion from being stagnant and allowing corporations to take all power. keeping the balance between capitalism and socialism is essential to maintaining this country.

Back in 2008 there was a legitimate anti establishment left who created the Occupy Wall street movement. Then corporate media, academia and public education started aggressively pushing culture wars and identity politics issues. Now that's the only thing the left cares about. They would unironically favor a woke corporation over a slightly problematic working class, if Joe the plumber ever once said something off color on twitter. As far as the right goes, the anti establishment right has been made into a boogieman due to being associated with the most extreme factions, and the establishment right and left are irrelevant, because they obviously just maintain the status quo. Far left isn't seen as a threat either, but is rather pushed and tolerated like people like Vaush and Hasanpiker because all of their talking points are state sponsored anyways, because again, a legitimate anti establishment left hasn't existed since it was coopted after Occupy Wall street

In terms of economics, I believe some level of free market principals should exist, but that there should be economic protections in place as well to ensure economic power doesn't become too centralized. Not a fascist because the state nationalizing these corporations still centralizes power, and I'm not a libertarian because I don't believe we should just let them become super powerful. I just thing we should actually enforce our anti-trust laws and break up monopolies. I've played monopoly enough times to know that by the end, someone runs the board lol and that shouldn't be the case
