Faouzia was raised in small town Manitoba. This song was created shortly after she went to University in the big city. She was obviously shocked by the change in how people behave in places where there are no personal consequences to instant judgements.

This song is really popular and I'm a big fan...but I don't think it's one of her best. By her standards the composition is a bit dull, although the vocals make up for it. I'm a bigger fan of "How It All Works Out (Stripped)" and "Bad Dreams (Stripped)" from this "Stripped" series.
