For a mixture of ideal gases, the total pressure exerted by the mixture equals the sum of the pressures that each gas would exert on its own. This observation, known as Dalton's law of partial pressures, can be written as follows: P(total) = P₁ + P₂ + P₃ + ... where P₁, P₂, and P₃ are the partial pressures of the different gases in the mixture, and P(total) is the total pressure of the mixture. Thank you! I love the illustrations and I love the way you break things down!
thank you!! we are covering this in applied thermodynamics and now I actually somewhat understand.
Do u have a special list of episodes or lectures for Sat subject tests on ur app that I can use
Smart and very clear explanation. Thank you and happy to find your channel.
Your videos are extremely good, I really appreciate it.
Partial pressure
Thanks man. Ur awesome
whats the blackboard app??
One Notes
khan academy always helps thanks a lot for ths vdeo
When your in a corner you have to apply pressure to save the body.Good video brother Sal
So you were using Boyle's law?
How volume occupied by each gas is equal to V?
Please reply sir..
Gas is in the same container
what about the molecules of other gases in the same containeri? Dont they ocupie any volume?
@@tolgaguven3025since they are ideal gases the volume of other molecules are negligible in comparison to free space so the volume that can be occupied is the total volume
Good
Confused on 4:30 on why we are doing this. Like I kind of understand why but it is unclear as to the reason given
nice
Thank u
Thank you so much😭🙏🏻. May Jesus bless you

Love it
🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:
00:00 *🧪 Introduction to Partial Pressure*
- Introduction to the concept of partial pressure in gas mixtures,
- Total pressure in a gas mixture is the sum of partial pressures contributed by each gas component,
- Derived from the ideal gas law, partial pressures are determined by the number of moles, temperature, and volume of each gas.
03:24 *📊 Mathematical Application of Partial Pressure*
- Explaining how to use mathematical equations to calculate partial pressures in gas mixtures,
- Utilizing mole fractions to determine the partial pressure of a specific gas component,
- Illustration of a problem-solving approach using known variables such as total pressure and moles of gas components.

I will use all this partial gas to then concentrate into hose form, and use it to create mud and straw houses. It's our next greatest technology - believe me.

Hey, dudes. Don't forget to cover: Healthy competition, like in proper eoc-friendly capitalism, or in a sport. It is another aspect of growth we don't usually cover.
In other words... We should practice a Vulcan-lite model from Star Trek! haha.
For example of affect: my kids are three years ahead of their grade.
Thnks for wasting my time
