Which color do you have? How are you finding the clasp/opening mechanism over time?
I have it in the color “cookie” and yes the clasp is quite annoying haha sometime I think I closed it but it’s not. I’m on the petite size, 5’1 and I was debating if I wanted to smaller size. I was hoping my iPhone 15 pro max will fit in the back and as you shown, it will not. I do like the look of the smaller one but not sure if it’s practical especially with the closure. I also was considering the DUYP new smaller Paris bag. Haha I was hoping you might do a review of that one if you had it 😅

Hi Hannah! Thank you for the thorough review ❤ I have been waiting for it. The lock design looks more difficult to close when the bag is empty or has less things inside similar to the Pochette Métis. I might have to rethink my decision cause the lock might drive me crazy 😂
It’s true! The closure is much easier when the bag is full of items vs empty, just like the Pochette Métis, like you said!
Love all the cute colors Fleuron carries for their bags! Thou this bag isn’t for me, the lock design and size pull me back from liking it. Instead, I prefer their mini Swann bag, wish I could get them one day, maybe a bag review for that one soon? 😊 always love your bag review 👍🏻👍🏻

It’s a cute bag. To me it would be great for a preteen or young teen to use as an accessory for a spring outfit.
Yes I think it’s the color I chose. My 14 year old daughter is all over it! 😂 But in a more neutral color, it would feel less youthful I suppose.
agree, the buckle is what makes me think young teen.
I have the pacific blue mini version, it is a bit small but love the soft leather. I treat it is as a colourful casual bag due to the leather nature and the stitching style, despite the elegant lock.

On the celine classic box does the metal closer catch on things. That has always been my concern. That the bottom part that sticks out will scratch or catch on things.
Yes it can catch on loose clothing if you’re not careful. But you are aware that the Classic box style has been discontinued, yes?
If it cant fit my umbrella in it then im not buying. But i saw they have 1 larger size as well 😊

I don’t think the clasp will damage your nails but it’s tricky to open/close when the bag is completely empty, as shown in the video. Much easier when bag is full of item. Hope that helps!

I returned my DeMellier purchase because it was a bit disappointing. 😬 But it may have been the specific bag I got. 🤷🏻♀️

@@mr.ryan.nguyenMine was the Vancouver tote so very similar hardware as the shoulder bag I believe you’re referring to. It came already scratched (among other issues), so something to keep in mind! But my Ateliers Auguste bags have not given me any problems, if that helps!
I have this bag in the regular size! I love the logo but I wish the hardware wasn't so yellow toned, I feel like that gives it the cheap look
I just bought the Vancouver bag. I am a little disappointed in the quality. There were some imperfections in the stitching and hardware, and the leather didn't feel "thick" - sorry - not sure of how to describe it. It just felt flimsy like it would rip. Especially the strap.@@mr.ryan.nguyen
