Mel, much love. Please allow me to note: Retourne is pronounced “ruh-torn.” The e at the end is silent.
Sellier is pronounced “sell yay.” The “r” at the end is silent. Thank you for all the mod shots and detailed explanations! Even though I’m petite and 5’3”, the 25 is too small for my daily needs. I prefer a 28 sellier.
I LOVE these videos because I not only get very educated about a particular bag style, but also see clearly your love and passion for these luxury items.

Great reference guide. If I were to own only ONE Kelly bag, my choice would be Kelly 25 in Retourne - for versatility in day/night use, formal/casual situation, ease of transformation into crossbody and would certainly purchase a 7 RP insert to maintain its shape.

I personally don’t like the Kelly 25 cm the 28 is the smallest I have purchased I tend to get Kelly 35cm all Sellier and in Epsom or Box Calf Leather.

Very useful! A downside of the Retourné which you haven't mentioned is the folded corners are more vulnerable to rubbing and wear. So that bag will need more care and maintenance, bearing in ind that war is often a function of not cleaning and nourishing the leather enough.
Apart from that the shape and size of this bag is just more modern and fun and could be successfully worn with jeans. But the more rigid Sellier is more appropriate with structured clothes like a suit, or for more formal occasions To me the benefit of having a shoulder strap is very significant. IMO.
You’re always so thoughtful and put a lot of time into these videos and you can tell! Very well done video 👏🏻 I always thought I preferred the black 28S but now seeing the mod shots, I would go for the black 25S which is very hard to come by. Even though more structured, it does fit quite a bit! Thank you for always showing us all the possible details that we would need. Love seeing what fit inside of each too 😍

In answer to the question of 25 vs 28 I would have to say neither, I suspect that the 32 would suit my lifestyle a lot better. It was very disappointing not to see your 32 in the comparisons. Have you sold it?
I definitely prefer the sellier. It’s just looks more luxurious and put together. I feel the retourne looks sloppy and I really don’t like how the sides collapse and they get saggy bums. I noticed in this video that the pink 25 seems to have begun to collapse on one side already and it looks lopsided.
