    $1000 OFF the Data Analytics Springboard Tech Bootcamp with my code JUNAID. See if you qualify for the JOB GUARANTEE! 👉 www.springboard.com/landing/i...
    Springboards' Data Bootcamp is in partnership with Microsoft, and covers the use of tools like Tableau, SQL, Power BI, Python and most importantly, Excel in Data Analytics. You'll also get the chance to build a strong portfolio of data projects, and I've always said the best way to set up your CV and get a job is to do a Data Analytics Bootcamp.

    My name's Junaid and I'm a data analyst working for a financial services firm in central London.
    In today's video I go over my background, how I landed my role, and the skills and tools that think are the most important.
    I dive deeper into how I used LinkedIn, Wall Street Oasis and CV feedback to give myself the best chance of landing my role.
    The team within the company is very new, and so I find my role encompasses a lot of what I did as investment analyst intern at UBS, alongside more traditional data analysis.
    Better 8 months later than never.

I have completed my Bachelor's & my major was management. Now! I want to study Data Analyst but my cgpa is low it’s 2.70 from a national university. My bachelor degree was a professional degree which is mostly known as professional BBA. I heard from some random individuals that 2.70 cgpa is low to do Master’s in Data analyst & suggested me to do Post graduate diploma in Data analyst. Now I want to know is it possible to do PGD in Data analyst with low cgpa? and if possible can I do Master’s in Data Analyst with this cgpa. My heart will fill up with joy if you take some time to answer my doubts.

    Assalamo alaikum
    Thank you very much for sharing your experience and advice with us. I completed my Masters in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence from University of Liverpool back in 2021. Since that time I have been applying for Data Science jobs such as data scientist, data analyst but couldn't get yet, infact not even a single interview call. I already hold tech skills such as python, sql, power bi, excel, machine learning, little bit of deep learning and did projects in them but still have no idea what could be the reason for not getting a single call after applying to 600+ companies. After I completed my Masters, I shifted to London in 2021 with the hope of getting a job here but still waiting for it. I only manage to get odd jobs just to cover my expenses but none of the odd jobs provide any sponsorship in future.
    I am already in psw which would expire by early mid of 2024 so I am really tensed now.

    • @junaid_ahmed_
      @junaid_ahmed_  Před rokem

      If you’ve genuinely applied to over 600+ roles I’d look at overhauling your application process using the WSO CV template. You really shouldn’t have trouble landing a role with an MSc in Data Science and AI

    • @addarzful
      @addarzful Před rokem

      Yes I know despite having degree and skills, still I couldn't get a single interview call. I applied to some of them through LinkedIn, some through indeed and some through their own websites. I had been applying and applying since 3rd quarter of 2021 especially when I shifted to London.
      Can you again explain that what did you mean by "overhauling the application process"?

      @Omar-Asim Před rokem

      It does have Excel, SQL, Tableau & R but it's not in depth, you won't feel job ready at all by the end of the program. There's too much fluff and not enough focus on these skills and their practice.
