  • In this video I go over some of my favorite ink formulas from Transfer Express. The goof proof transfer work great for opaque white prints on dark colored shirts. The hot split transfers have a soft hand feel and leave no adhesive ghosting around your design like most other transfers.

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  Před 3 lety +1

      i start at their recommended settings and then make adjustments as needed. i do this with all my transfers i use. just because somebody using the same press doesnt mean the settings will be the same. all presses are calibrated different, pressure is different, garments are different. so i test out every transfer first before placing an order. make sure i can lay it down and then i wash it to make sure its down and then write those settings down and then place my order

    with Transfer express, can you make your own designs? How do you do that? and also, what is the difference in this method vs screen printing? wanting to break into the business but assuming that to be competitive you need to know what others are selling ( quality, price point, etc.?) Thanks

    I need help. I pressed my hot splits at 370 and about 10 min later just out of curiosity I scratched the design with my finger nail and it came up. What am I doing wrong? I did the medium/firm pressure on my press on the instructions. I need to get orders out but now I’m at a stand still.

    Can I still buy a transfer or register for an account from Stahl’s Transfer Express without a Sales Tax ID? I am a young individual trying to start a clothing brand. I have all of the design that I have creating myself and equipment. I’m just wondering, what are the websites where I can order heat transfer. I just need to know where to order and I would be set on my clothing brand. If you could help me I would be thankful.

    Yo, thanks for the videos, also I was using a plastisol heat transfer from a company here in Canada, but no matter how hard I set the press it would sit on top of the garment.
    I’m really leaning towards these in the video, but I just want to understand, do these press into the shirt, like a silk screen finish?

    I’ve been trying to input my designs through easy view (screen print/goof proof) and they’re just black and white designs but they’re showing up as roughly $27 a sheet and I didn’t even fill the whole sheet. Is there something I’m missing?

    quick question homie, I see in your sample pack you have the transfers that you use, just wondering if there are also blank transfers to use with my own designs or is the purpose just to see how the transfers look, feel and not necessarily having to use one my designs while still testing things out? thanks in advance, peace...

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  Před 3 lety +2

      yes! the sample pack is just for testing out. when you are ready to order your own transfers, you send them your own designs to be printed. the sample pack is just so you can test out the transfers before you place that order
